FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- The Jets got bounced out of a prime-time appearance, learning Monday their Dec. 23 home game against the Chargers has been flexed to a 1 p.m. kickoff. It was originally scheduled for 8:20 p.m. on Sunday Night Football. The 49ers-Seahawks game will replace the Jets in prime time. This works to the Jets' benefit. Historically, it's difficult for West Coast teams to come east and play in the early time slot. The Jets beat the Chargers 27-21 in a 1 p.m. start last October. http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/je...o-1-p-m?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
Smart thing to do...There will be 10 turnovers in that game between the two QB's (Depends if Sanchize is still starting by then)
can't blame them, would you rather watch two bad teams in primetime or a divisional race game? i go with the latter
They're +11 on points again and -3 on wins. Norv Turner has to be one of the worst coaches in NFL history.
lol, unfortunately so true.. I'm nervous about next MNF. Glad the SD game is 1PM time slot too.. Works in favor of the Jets.
It can't be 1:00 . The giants are already scheduled for 1:00 . They both can't play at the same time .
Since my family decided to have Xmas dinner on Sunday night, I won't have to spend the evening being frustrated, depressed, and mad as hell. Good call.
NBC doesn't want to show another Sanchez Buttfumble. The FCC was offended that it was shown on national TV.
Not surprised. Chargers will most likely be eliminated. Though, I am surprised they didn't put the Steelers/Bengals game in that slot. Those two are more legit wildcard contenders.
I hate to sound like an idiot, but can you explain that in detail to me? Or point me in a place that can?
