Sanchez was pathetic...Seriously that Cumberland pass was his only highlight...That didnt win us the game. Powell/Greene and our Olin won us the game...How many times did Sanchez pass off...Ridiculous

I get the impression that many here feel that all the Jets need to do is eject Mark Sanchez and insert (not Mark Sanchez) into the spot and things will get better.

That might make people feel better for a short time, but it won't make the Jets better. What will make the Jets better is to hire a new GM whose focus is on rebuilding the offense and structuring this team in a way that can win a Super Bowl. That new GM then has to look at the coaching staff and figure out if Rex and Co can get it done or if they need offensive minded people for the head coaching spot as well. THEN you look at Sanchez and your options from there.

You have obviously forgotten about the Jets of the late 70's mid 80's Now THOSE teams didn't have an iota of SB win!

Lol all the Jets coaching staff did was make Sanchez look like Christian Ponder-lite.

Seriously, a 4th year QB looking like Ponder.

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are beating the Cardinals 51-0. Let's not get excited about 2 wins against the worst in the league.

    Our offense sucks

Transitive property doesn't really work in football.

For example: Steelers beat us, while losing to Tennessee who blew out the Dolphins who blew us out who beat the Dolphins.

Nevermind the fact that the Steelers just got blown the fuck out by the Chargers...

Thanks for the Braylon/Sanchez highlights Edge. When they were on they were exciting to watch.

You can see Sanchez's mechanics were much better and he played at a much higher intensity and confidence level. The Jets ruined him. They should send him to a sports psychologist in the offseason to see if he could straighten himself out.

Personally, I don't think ejecting Sanchez is the only thing the Jets need to do. It's just that ejecting Sanchez and his outrageous contract would be one of the first things on my list.

I think we all know our offense sucks. Lynch has 11 for 128 and 3 TDs. If we could get that from one of our running backs, ohhhhh man

I know Sanchez hasnt been great but guys aren't exactly getting open. Look at the WR corps when Hill went out. It was scary bad.

Kerley is the only guy that can get any seperation and he is a #3 on any other team.

The Jets of the late 70's looked almost exactly like the Jets now. A few good players on the defensive side, a couple of very good offensive linemen and that was it.

The 78 and 79 Jets went 8-8 each year not some terrible record. Then they collapsed in 1980, just like they're going to next year if somebody doesn't get a clue in record time.

The mid 80's Jets were much more talented than this group but the injury bug bit them multiple times every season. Just think Revis and Holmes out every year like clockwork. That's what the mid 80's were like.

The late 70's crew was closer to a Super Bowl than this one. The mid 80's group was much closer.

If you don't see the similarities, then you've chosen to forget those teams.

    51-0
    7-6

But I agree we shouldn't compare scores. It's a different week but that doesn't mean our QB doesn't suck... Does it?

It just means that teams have good or bad days.

There are also good teams and bad teams. And Arizona is a bad team.

The Sanchez TD watch continues for another week. Eight quarters without a passing TD.

That's why we were able to beat them with just one touchdown from a 3rd string QB.

And what does that say about our 1st string QB?

He had a bad game...? Good QB's lose to bad teams all of the time. Sanchez is a bad QB, but your logic doesn't work here.
