Nothing to complain about? I'm just glad he survived. It's in the best of interest of the team for him to get better, not worse.
After that win I would still bench Sanchez. He sucks and its absolutely crazy to see him have any supporters at all. He made ONE! (1!) good throw all game against the shitty Jags. I'm not a Sanchez hater. I supported him up until this season. I wanted it to work out but you just have to open your eyes and judge and if you can't see that Sanchez SUCKS then you're blind or you just like the guy. I know a lot of people who just likes Sanchez for non-football reason.
Sanchez plays like crap, but the defense and run game saved his ass again. Jacksonville was playing so badly, we should have blown them out. Instead it was a nail-biter.
He made way more than 1 good throw... He made 1 Good throw with the game on the line but he had a few good ones and a few bad ones. Call a spade a spade..
Blow it up on the offensive side of the ball and start over. It's hard to imagine the offense could get much worse than it is right now. The Jets have never been farther from a Super Bowl win than they are today.
Yeah Sanchez managed the game which is all we need and most likely will need to end the season on a winning streak. He made the throw when we needed it. Look at our receiving core for most of the game: WR 1 Kerley WR 2 Schillens WR 3 Gilyard TE 1 Cumberland (Hammy problems today) TE 2 Reuland We NEED the OL and running game to step up. Sanchez and none of those WR/TE are going to breakout.
The Jets have scored 77 points on offense over the last 6 games. That's 12.83 points a game. They've scored 174 points on offense over the last 12 games. That's 14.5 points a game. They're terrible and they're terrible across the board. They looked terrible in training camp and with the exception of two games this year they've looked terrible for most of the year. The offense has scored 10 points or less 6 times in 13 games. That's terrible. It's just a completely un-entertaining shitshow week after week at this point. You're in the entertainment business Woody? Really?
Do you people even watch the games? Do you people think? He missed 2, TWO receivers, yes. I will say he should have hit them. BUT his accuracy isn't atrocious. Do you just spew what comes to your mind at the time of the play? Name me one QB who's accuracy is SPOT on every throw. When the ball should be caught and bounces off of the hands/arms/chest of our receivers, that's all accuracy, right? I'm as frustrated with Mark as a lot of you, but you people are so over dramatic.
We won But this D isn't the 2000 Ravens This kind of "game management" is not going to get us far in the playoff (assuming we make it at all) Mc and Tebow can hand the ball off 80 times. But will the have a strip fumble every other game or throw unnecessary picks?
He missed a non-moving wide-open Jeremy Kerley on a 3rd and long play. Kerley saved his ass by making an amazing catch. Shit like that happening too often.
We can only run our way to wins against shitty teams because of the defense. You can't run your way into wins consistently against good teams. At some point our QB has to contribute in a big way. All these people that keep saying "Sanchez haters" and all that BS. THINK FOR A SECOND, this is Mark Sanchez's 4th year. He HAS NOT progressed but is regressing. He HAS NOT learned for his mistakes. He HAS NOT shown us he can help the Jets reach their goal of a Superbowl and be a ELITE team in the NFL. We ARE NOT Sanchez haters, we just have high expectations and Sanchez has done NOTHING to help. It's not HATE it DISAPPOINTMENT. Is that fair enough, Sanchez lovers?
He made one amazing catch all game. Every team with a good crop of receivers get at least one, if not more per game. Some of the better receivers do it 3-4 times a game, but those are the Marshall, Calvin, and Andres of the league. And if Kerley wasn't moving short of the marker, that's on Kerley or play design. He shouldn't be not moving short of the marker.
the tape says otherwise...sanchez makes horrible decisions, holds the ball too long and telegraphs his passes... mark is terrible based on a lot of things, completion percentage being one of them. and his completion percentage is directly tied to his decision making speed and overall choices. for everyone saying its dropped passes, i'd like to see where the jets stack up in terms of drop rate compared to the rest of the league...last i saw this #, they were on average for the league.
