Damn I had Shorts on my fantasy team. The book on Blackmon is that he is a poor route runner. But the Blaine Gabbert fans said that Blackmon was hurting Gabbert, until Henne went in that Houston game and Blackmon had a career game.

I don't think Sanchez will suck at all on Sunday. I think that benching was good for him and he'll play well tomorrow as will the rest of the J-E-T-S !! The negative nellies on here will have to be quiet for at least a few hours.

I hope Sanchez plays well, but I also know that if he struggles we have a guy in McElroy that can step up when called upon.

I see Sanchez playing poorly again,,,,,,no reason not to say that. I can see the coach taking the ball out of Marks hands and trying to run the ball most of the game. I guess if someone keeps posting each week that Mark is going to have a career or epic game they will be right sooner or later , i just don't see that happening.
I think we catch a huge break with Shorts being out as he and Henne have something going on, but my biggest concern this game is Mercedez Lewis as we have no one that can cover him. I laugh at everyone that is predicting that the jags are easy and have no defense,,,last time I looked we were that bad team and sadly still are .

I personally hope Tebow is #2 tomorrow..... simply because if Sanchez is pulled and Tebow steps in the roar of the crowd will probably be as loud as when McElroy came in last week

Honestly see Cro shutting down Blackmon. He has trouble with the quick, shifty receivers that run precise routes. At this point Blackmon just gets by with size and athleticism.

And yet, I would rather have him than Sanchez. That is the reality of where we are at. Sad.

If I had a big sig like that, I'd make sure it was spelled correctly.. ;D

I really do not see Sanchez bouncing back. He needs more than just a half on the bench.
Could he develop into an average starter - possibly with another team but he is done as a NYJ, he does not have the mental toughness to get it back.

The results of this game depend on if Mark gets pulled and when. If he plays the whole game the Jets lose 17 - 10.

Jets defense has to stop Justin Blackmon and Merecdes Lewis - that's it - two guys.

The Jets pride themselves as an inside running team - the Jags don't stop that very well.

This game shouldn't be close and I think the Jets need a convincing road win over the Jags this week for everyone in green.

For fucks sake. So if Sanchez implodes again, we're relying on the Tebowcat.

Yeah, this makes no sense because McElroy came in and did a good backup job and Tebow is coming off an injury. It would have been worth it to inactive someone else and keep McElroy active

I'm sure Sanchez will be just fine against a D Helen Keller would have a career game against. However, this is just papering over the cracks.

If its Rex's decision to have Mac inactive, he should be fired. If the decision comes from above Rex then Rex should be fired because hes a useless puppet.
