lol this shit makes me ashamed to be a fan How in the world is it disrespectful to keep running a play that's working? I think it is disrespectful to make millions and see they are running the same play over and over and let them march down the field. I think it is so pathetic for the Phins and Jets to be constantly whining and "telling" on the Pats because they are a consistently better team Plus apparently it is disrespectful for the Pats to throw the ball late in games too. They can't win.
So let me get this straight: The Doplhns feel "disrespected" because a team kept running the same play for postive yardage because they couldn't stop it? Ok. Understood
The above is just stupid. Let's put the one player that is the main key for how good we, to drop back when a game can be ended with him on the bench or just handing off, and let an overzealous defender end his year and our year. It's just dumb. Yes Bill can say he has seen amazing comebacks before, but man all it takes is one bad block, one bad hit. You might as well lower that risk by not using Brady in scenarios where you don't need him especially in guaranteed W late in games
No doubt. It is stupid on their part. I just think it is lame to complain about "running up the score" in a sport where the players are paid handsomely to stop a team from running up the score.
Ha! I hate the Pats as much as the next guy, but this is some clown ass nonsense. GOOD coaches recognize when a play can't be stopped and exploit it. They don't Schotty it and abandon for the rest of the game.
This was my thought exactly after reading the article. "They saw that we couldn't stop it and they kept doing it?? That's so mean!!" Fuckin pathetic.
EXCEPT that people are complaining about the Pats running and throwing the ball in the third quarter. If you don't want to be "disrespected", stay in the locker room at half time.
