agreed, i don't want to see Sparano go yet. We can't keep having constant change (coaches, coordinators etc) if we are gonna build something we have to see it through not just throw it all away at the first sign of a bump in the road.

how can we, in good conscience, fire a coordinator when he had ZERO weapons to work with?!?

He started in a game today against a 4-7 Cardinals team who lost 7 in a row coming into today with their back-up QB starting for them.

You see where I am going with this?

"a teammate gets benched and not one tear is shed. where is the loyalty? "

It's shown on the scoreboard, dude.

Think it's more about the consistency. Greg was in for 4 drives. 1 went for a TD. A second was aborted due to a fumble by the new RB, but Greg gets the benefit of the doubt on that one. Fumble wasn't his fault and the previous drive had gone 10 plays for 66 yards and a TD. We can kind of presume that this drive would have been better.

Next drive was a three and out, but was actually a positive play on Greg's part. He rolled away from pressure and threw the ball away instead of doing something stupid.

Last drive was 14 plays and 71 yards down to the 1 yard line.

So, out of 4 possessions, he had 2 long drives, one that ended on a fumble and 1 3 and out. Not bad for a #3 coming off the bench.

But you have to remember in that OT game was that it wasn't JUST the Hill drop that killed the Jets, it was the fact that Sanchez was willing to hold the ball and get a sack. He never throws it away, its either a horrible shitty pass that goes no where, an interception or an actual reception. Take your pick.

You ain't got a fucking clue when it comes to OC - that much is for sure.

    To quote Warner:

It took him FIVE YEARS since his Rams days, to recover fully from the shellacking he took while playing for Martz (Warner played but TWO years under Martz the Head coach.)

If watching your QB getting killed play after play is your thing, I suggest you start watching some snuff film instead.

Same story with shotty! I don't think there is an OC out there good enough for your Mark.

Yeah, OK.. you obviously have no clue on how bad those teams were and what he actually did to improve Offenses and QB's...
You're basing some of your info on a QB who cried that the OC made him better?
Right, and what Happened to the next QB when Warner was done?
    Oh yea, that's right.

I suggest you actually watch some football and layoff of youtube to get your info...

Ste[hen Hill had the best response.

I'm here to catch passes for both quarterbacks. So I don't have too much to say, sorry.

I love that. He knows his place, at a young age he knows his place.

I like this kid more and more, I think he'll be a star. He just has hands issues. He'll work it out.

I do kind of agree with this guy and his weird green text.

Martz did turn a grocery boy into a superbowl winning QB. That offense was flawless, amazing. And Marshall Faulk was REALLY the only star on the team. We can debate Tory Holt if you want, but that was reallllly early in his career.

They're athletes. They get hurt. It happens. That's why they make what we won't see unless we make it to the very, very, very, very, tippy top of our respective work fields.

If Reid would take OC, I'd be cool with that too.

Actually, I'd say the exact opposite was proven true. The ENTIRE team rallied around McElroy. Without knowing the history, it would've looked like that entire team was actually bitter against Sanchez.

Another reason I love Folk. He's been a clutch kicker & when he does miss it's been to the benefit to the Jets.

Best thing that happened is Jets were behind & Rex hand was forced to make a change. If Folk makes those FG (and Mark stays), then who knows how many more turnovers Mark gives up & gives Arizona D a chance to score.

Think Martz will get a HC offer if he continues waiting. There's gonna be some openings when this season ends. SD, Phi, KC (probably more but that's all off the top of my head). I'd expect people like Martz, Andy Reid, Norv Turner to wait a while before jumping on coordinator positions. Surely Martz is looking @ Rivers in SD & thinks he can "mold' him

Nope! Getting that faceprint off of Moore's ass is going to take a special procedure combing Moore, liposuction, and Sanchez. It is called:

    Mo-Suc-Sanchez

I hear this procedure it already being test marketed with a snappy slogan!
--'Cuz no one sucks more than the Sanch!--

Yea but Vermeil gets way too little credit in making that team a SB team
IMO. Remember, for all Martz's genius, he never won another SB with that team. He took Vermeil's team and got it back to the SB, yes, but lost. After that it was a steady decline.

I actually don't think Martz was a very good HC. The Rams shot themselves in the foot when they forced (yes, forced) Vermeil to step aside and retire for Martz. Still, he is a great OC. I just wonder if he is the right fit for this team. Really depends on who the next HC is....... after we fire Rexy.

That drop by Hill is still killing us, If we won that game we would be 6-6 and right on the cusp of being in the playoffs.Losing that overtime game is effecting everything
