Sanchez deserves a lot of credit for what the team accomplished his first two seasons. Sure, those teams were very talented, but he still helped us get to within a game of the Super Bowl twice. Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to progress the way you would have expected a player drafted as high as he was, and who has shown flashes of brilliance, should have.
If Sanchez goes,I'll always remember the look on Sanchez face last year in Miami. He gave up and didn't give a shit. Maybe that piss poor attitude carried over to this season. Im at the point I dont care whos the quarter back I just want to win.
Sanchez had FOUR playoff wins of which he was a big part of at least three, let's be fair. Including this franchise's best single win in the last 40 years.
Not really. Defense dominated the bengals. He did nothing against sd except throw for 15 total yards on NYS td drives. Kaeding missing fgs and rivers throwing picks in the end zone won that game. His best game was against ne and played the role of a caretaker well that game. 2010 was filled with some of the flukiest plays I've ever seen. It took border line miracles via turnovers or questionable pi calls to beat the terrible browns, broncos and lions that year. If the jets had decent qb play those two years the team might of not had to play all those road games. Sanchez was garbage from day one
i dont like sanchez but i give him credit for playing great in both afc title games especially 2010 (ill always be convinced if antonio brown drops that ball the jets would have marched down the field and won that game)
when he had a loaded team, he still performed average. so, if you have a "loaded team" on one hand and an average QB on the other, which should be credited for getting to the AFCCG and the W's? I'll remember a bad QB that needed great players around him just to elevate his performance to average, and without that talent was outright awful.
ding! ding! ding! but, but Sanchez threw the pass that got called for PI against the Broncos. great play by Sanchez!!!!!!!!!!
Can't have it both ways. People give him all this praise and use the teams win as justification no matter how little he contributed. If he loses than he gets no credit than either
Dude Sanchez will be starting this weekend,The Sanchez era isn't over yet ,Rex new he had to do it for this game because this was a must win game . My gut tells me Rex will name Sanchez the starter sometime during the week
maybe but then why do it now and not earlier seemed to me like rex finally had enough and is going to make the switch
People are acting like we just traded him , enough of this shit wait until Rex names the starter midweek then start specualting, Sanchez could have a big game against JAX and then what???I have a feeling the JAX game is gonna be similar to the Week 1 Buffalo game,I don't belive in Sanchez but with that said Mclroy is still a mystery to me so seeing him play a full 60 minutes would be intresting to see.But now Rex has to be careful because we have to win these next 4 games and hope for help around the league to make the playoffs he has to put that into consideration. I mean we are the 8th seed we are two seeds away even though its a long shot now that Cinci the Colts and Steelers all won today
Rex Grossman took the Bears to the Superbowl, Go ask Bears fans if they even remember his Jersey number because they don't, And the league forgot about Grossman as well. Sanchez never took us anywhere those first two years, Amazing defense and a solid running game got us there. Sanchez doesn't deserve credit for it im sorry he doesn't.Look at Sanchez now when all the things around him aren't perfect and he was expected to carry the team and he couldn't because he simply isn't good enough
I know.. I am thinking now.. What if we did not have sanchez during our lucky playoff run 2 years in a row.
as an overdrafted qb with talent that was not put in a situation to develope into the qb he has the physical skills to be. oh, and being a dick
