Yeah we are done. We need a miracle now.

All we can do is win and take care of our business. Not even going to worry about the other teams. It is what it is.

    Playoff Picture?

Let me preface this by saying I'm hardly hopeful, but I just saw a shot of the playoff picture and we are actually right in the thick of things. Making the massive assumption the Jets can win out, the playoffs are actually pretty feasible from what I saw.

Steelers have a 2 game lead on the last spot but it's entirely feasible they go 2 - 2 to finish. Also, even if the Bengals hold on to win same thing applies IMO. The Jets are right in the mix.

I'm clearly taking our ineptitude out of consideration and making an assumption that a possible QB change would spark a run of the table. But it's worth nothing, that the playoffs aren't as far fetched record wise as many of us think.

Colts win. Steelers win. Bengals winning.

    Is our season over?

The Colts winning and the Bengals winning (currently) aren't good for our chances.

Well the Steelers and Colts winning today certainly makes it even more unlikely, these were two games we needed them to lose. Pitt has 3 @ home with Ben coming back, not looking good.

Well, the Chargers still got a shot to win. The game isn't over yet. We would need them to win. Then we would need the Bengals to beat the Steelers in a few weeks. As well as two more wins from the Bengals. The Steelers are going to at least get to 9-7. Its possible that they go 2-2 the rest of the way and end up 9-7, but 1-3 isn't happening. So we would need a three way tie at 9-7 with us, Bengals and the Steelers which would get us in.

Bengals winning but haven't won yet...SD knocking on the door.

Season isn't "over". And looking at the playoff standings its feasible though unlikely.

The Colts spot to me was a forgone conclusion. I'd eye just that last 6th spot, whether it IND or PITT.

And now we play just well enough to draft around 17 or 18...Which bites, not much to be gained on a trade down either.

so basically the steelers need to go 1 - 3 with the jets going 4 - 0 amongst other things?

Could be right, but its different when its a 3 way tie. Forget the 3 way tiebreaker off hand, but it excludes the H2H matchup.

Unless there's a 3 way tie in which it's best conference record instead of head to head.

Not sure what the bengals conference could be but they'd need to go 9-7 and the Steelers as well so it goes to conference record instead of head to head.

steelers hold tie breaker head to head on us so both colts and steelers need to lose 3 of last 4 games and jets need to win out...........I doubt they lose 3 of 4 games

Cincy and Pitt play each other. One of them will have 6 losses.

I have Cincy out of the playoffs. The Ravens will most likely be still playing for a bye week by the time they play each other.

As for the Colts, they probably have too more losses (the Houston games). If Tennessee/KC upsets them, even better.

Not if the Steelers beat the Bengals in the process. Then they would have the head-to-head-to-head sweep.
