Was there. Was there with a PSL brown bag on my head. That was disgusting. Everything was. The game, the boos, the bullshit.
On Sanchez's 1st Pick, My gut told me...this is it. So did all the other fans there....it was just a gasp as if they were expecting it.
It was a hostile crowd at least where I was. The team is in damage control mode now and the Jets chant is nothing but an after thought. I think if the team were having a better year or the game were more exciting the Chant would have been as loud as it usually is. Like Sanchez or not it was a very classy move to be the first one to shake McElroy's hand as he came off the field post TD.
I didn't see many brown bags during the game. I expect there will be way more once our slim playoff hopes are gone. Did yours have a big sad face on it?
It was quiet and everyone was restless. They booed Sanchez every time he came on the field and really tore into him when he made a bad play, especially the interceptions. Chanted Mac-El-Roy several times. Once McElroy got up, it was like a different building. It went from a dead crowd to almost like a playoff atmosphere. There was a buzz. Don't know how hte Jets chant worked - I only remember one really big one ,after the TD, but didn't notice whether how it was choreographed.
