Had to be a combo of RR, Schott, Tannenbaum, and Bradway. I assume all those guys have input on draft picks, especially trading up and taking a QB at 5. That pick and probably all picks are on a group of people. First one to go is often the GM.

Fuck this noise, Rex deserves one more year. He deserves that much at least.

Well the team is in obvious need of help at alot of posistions,In 2010 we went out and signed Jason Taylor,Cromartie,LT,Holmes and a few others, I think we will make signings of quality players like this next year. So you think the team is gonna look exactly the way it did this year next year???after this disaster of a season???How could you think that, obviously the product Management put on the field isn't good enough and we will make some new signings

Unless they really bomb out (ie 6-10). I would like Rex back. No more rex picks though.

I can live with him having a down year. The bullshit with the players sniping at Sanchez last offseason, Tebow this season, the Homes BS, the oline coach popping off about Ducasse, etc has me thinking Rex cant run a team. Heads dont roll often enough for the stuff thats been going on.

Its the talent level and "O" coordinator. If you fire Rex, the entire coaching staff goes, you start over with new coaches, new systems and need to find new players to fit that system. Usually you are stuck with some previous players that can't play that system ( Herm to Mangini). So year one is lost and year 2 you START to build your team. Year 3 you start talking playoffs. So year 4 we MIGHT be back to the Championship game... might. I ain't got that kind of patience anymore. Make Tanny the cap guy, promote the head scout to be in charge of the draft, get rid of Sprano and have Rex scout players and write reports and let the man in charge review the data and make the picks... and one other thing.. WOODY STAY OUT OF PLAYER DECISONS JUST SIGN THE CHECKS AND WORK ON THE 2014 SUPER BOWL

Kenny Powers is always the voice of reason. I second this, though he definitely has room to improve.

People who say the defense sucks are wrong. They are not elite like two years ago, but they are very solid and are constantly exposed by the offense. When is everybody going to get this concept? Yes, it is not the best defense Rex has fielded (personnel problem), but they would be much better if they were not on the field the whole game.

Rex ain't going nowhere. The Sanchez experiment has one more year, Rex does as well to turn it around. If he doesn't, then he's donefor, but honestly I think he will. The Jets just need a solid draft and to get Sanchez a premier RB.

You are an idiot. You have a HC, and a QB. You need an OC.,and one, maybe two good drafts.

Look at Cincy. They are following the Pitt NYG model. Find a guy, have faith if he is not Kotite, and fix the minor issues, don't create new major issues.

Marvin Lewis should have been fired 2 years ago. The Bengals are sticking with him through thick and thin on a plan that will see them reach the Super Bowl randomly in about 15 years unless they get really lucky.

Coaches succeed very quickly or they fail over time. You can't find guys who have one good season in their first 3 or 4, mixed in with several bad ones, and then turn it around at the same franchise. They just don't exist.

The NFL is one of the fiercest competitions around. When somebody is down they generally stay down until they do something to fix that.

This defense is not very solid. Not very solid at all.

keep rex and pettine, fire tannybum, badway, cavanugh, sutton, and only keep sporano if he is restricted to coaching offensive line only.

cut pace, scott, thomas, moore, to free up cap space. maybe trade tebow, suckchise if anyone else offers up a decent draft pick. keller has to show something or else he goes along with harris and a few other over-paid guys. stockpile picks. you can draft a lot of players with the cap space taken up by just one over-paid , non-producing free agent.

Can anyone tell me please why the Ravens decided to hired Harbaugh instead of Rex as head coach of the Ravens?

I think Rex stays for a year or 2, same for Sanchez. They will both play out their contracts. If after the next 2 year we don't improve, maybe they will look elsewhere. It will be another 2 years on wasted draft picks for the Defense while the offense plays second fiddle. Sporano will stick around as long as Rex does.
Hopefully they can fix this and at least stay a 500 team.

Probably because of what we have seen the last 2 years. The Ravens know something, - maintaining success for as long as they have requires some solid football knowledge.

I know,Remeber when we needed to win the division so we could play a playoff game at home and that was the goal, We went from finally being respected and talked about in a positive way to being the Laughing Stock of pro sports as a whole. Now we are talking about getting over 500 and firing everyone and trading Revis and how Norv Turner can save the team. Unreal

I think this entire franchise needs an enema.
