I would love to stick it to that billionaire toolset Johnson but I have a hard time skipping out on games, I enjoy football and I enjoy the Jets (sometimes), so its tough. Wish I could stay home, but I won't.
My credo is SB or bust so kindly keep them in mind whenever you wish to0 converse with me. Before the season began I said 6-10 & we are closing in on that #. As you age hopefully U will understand if U are a real fan of any team that the only thing that matters is CHAMPIONSHIPs & that is what the regular season is played for. Chill, OK? That would be nice too. I'm not attacking you, just discussing the point. And that's coming from a RU grad, class of 93. And yes, I think that a half empty stadium, week after week, will make more of an emotional impact on Woody than financial.
So basically, the only time a "real fan" can possibly be happy is on the day his team wins SB. He must be miserable day before SB ("we didn't win anything yet"), day after SB ("it's a new season, past SBs don't count") and any other day in between. Do you realize how ridiculous you sound? Don't worry, I won't converse with you anymore. I make a point of avoiding people who choose to stay miserable no matter what kind of convoluted logic they have to employ to justify it. IMO misery is contagious and I choose to avoid it if possible.
Sorry if I came through as attacking, didn't mean to. Yes, you're right, empty stadium for home game would send a very powerful message, but it's just not realistic. Side note: "Ru..." does not stand for "Rutgers University".

Empty stadiums are realistic and you will start indeed seeing some in the coming weeks......Have a look at the Jags, Philly, Buff, Raiders stadiums in the next few weeks......If anyone needs tickets to the Jets/Cards there are about 10000 left...some selling for as low as 18.00. Your completely wrong about what's realistic.......
Sure it can be empty -- for 1-2 games after a really nasty loss. But for the whole season... don't think so.
Are the Patriots losers? They haven't won a Superbowl in 7 years. If we won the Superbowl this year, will you still have a frowning face?
Yes in the years any team does not win the SB they are losers that means that 31 of the 32 teams in the NFL are losers every year Since the NYJs are not going to win the SB this year or next year or years into the future as I see it so there is no answer to that question until they win a SB U should know that my credo is very simple SB or bust so my posts are driven by that credo. I do not care if you do not like that credo but that is what I believe. Sports is all about WINNING CHAMPIONSHIPS not having a 15-1 record ala the Pack last year or the Pats undefeated season then losing the SB to the NYGs :sad:

it all equals up to an F for the season, we only judge ont he season. There are not 10 subjects to judge. '09 was probably a B, '10 a B+, '11 a C. You don't change everything you do b/c you have one bad season.
id be shocked if jets games were full or even near half capacity the rest of the season. and make no mistake..one more year of this garbage and there will be a full on revolt.
