All GMs in 2012 7 Round Mock Draft will be offered at least 2 teams in our 3 Round Annual Mock Draft. I want GM assignments to start ASAP, so you can get a idea of your team's needs since the season is still in progress. Yes, I'm giving 5 or 6 long term Gms 1st pick, you will get a PM tomorrow and then you can select any available teams.
Please, one thing I beg of you guys is to not just throw draft boards out and not be involved at all. Participate as much as you can. I realize you may have other obligations and thats fine, but in the past we've had to take over entire teams (especially in the 7 round), which really ruins such a great thing on this site. I have confidence in the GM's WW picks, but again, if you're picked, please try to contribute instead of leaving your draft up to another GM. I am available to make a pick for anyone when the time comes, so just keep in mind come January, you can PM me as well as WW. This is a fun process, especially when it comes to the 7 round mock, I'm excited to be apart of it again.
Especially with smart phones now, make sure you have it set so when you get a PM you get an email. It's a lot of fun when it goes smooth but nothing is more frustrating then having a bunch of owners ready to make their pick and someone is approaching the 2 hour limit and hasn't been heard from in awhile.
That used to be 3 hours, I reduced it to 2 to speed the process. Overall, 90% of the Gms are really good about making timely picks or sending boards, I remind them all the time. You're exactly right with technology there is a reason to miss a pick. I don't want to discourage people sending boards, but it's more fun to make your own pick. You are 1st on the waitlist, you will get 2 teams, I'm waiting for a few more vets to select their teams. To others: If you enjoy the draft, participate in this draft forum, I encourage you to sign up on the waitlist. As long as you can make a commitment to make timely picks, or send draftboards. The 1st 4 or 5 on the waitlist should be assured at least 1 team.
Eagles will be tough since they really dont have MANY needs, its more their coaching, injuries, and lack of motivation that has killed them. I may just get creative.
