Saw this on The Rant...not sure of it's validity. http://www.rantsports.com/nfl/2012/11/12/nfl-rumors-new-york-jets-tim-tebow-contract/ Sorry if this was posted. I'm lazy because I'm still stuffed with turkey.
Tebow can not play, because if he did they could never turn back to Sanchez, plus Mark was his 1st ever pick and he can't say he made a mistake.
1) why cant they go back to sanchez if they start tebow? it has happened a bajillion times before. 2) if they dont ever go back to mark is that a bad thing? 3) he says he made a mistake everytime he puts mark on the field
If his contract is anything like it was in Denver, he'd need 60% of the snaps for the season to be eligible for most of those bonuses. With 5 games left, there's NO danger of that happening. Even if he took over with 8 games to go, he'd probably lead the league in three and outs... AGAIN... therefore mitigating any threat to get the bonus. Why is it so difficult for people to accept that the reason he doesn't play, and the reason for lack of interrest around the league is because... brace for it... ...he's just not that damn good. His only claim to fame that most Tebowners have to desperately cling to like a life preserver was being carried by a very strong defensive performance, and got lucky in his only win against a team with a winning record in 16 starts.
