How is that stupidity? All 3 of those guys, and many more scrubs, would be an upgrade over Sanchez. He is complete garbage... As others have said, it's time to cut losses. Show the other players , we want to win. Get someone in here that is somewhat capable. The excuses people make for this clown are maddening. Can't worry about the cap hit, when you have a QB that cannot play. Figure out a way to get rid of him

Couldn't have been more right on there!

It's not they we are bad at math. We saw the limitations of Sanchez. They did too and decided to restructure Sanchez 's contract to do just that. Get better players to those positions. That's why they resigned him in the first place free up more room on a new deal. Look how that is working out for us this year!

I don't have enough faith in them making the right decisions on OTHER players to even have this idea of keeping Sanchez to free up more money to get better players.

So get rid of Sanchez bite the fucking bullet and move forward. We can't take another couple backward years with this guy. If they were smart- use the last 5 games against weaker opponents and drive up the tebow marketplace. At least allow us grab a few better draft picks for someone because keeping in Sanchez will mean we get nothing for both of them.

Or, maybe they are playing it smarter than we think to keep Sanchez in there to lose out and a bid for a better draft spot. Who knows. Lol

I don't know, I kind of liked this comparison. I think comparing Sanchez to old milk is pretty solid! Milk looked good when you first bought it but overtime just went bad

We have the Tebow merchandising down. Tebow has pretty much no trade value only to the JETS and their secret Tebow package of 15 plays where they roughly run the same 3 plays all year. End the TEBOW FUCKERY cut him

Tebow's trade value is the same it was when Elway dumped him. How many Florida alumunus will buy tickets to a team that isn't already sold out.

Can't say it any better! Cut this injured PP to save some money for 2013! This experiment is over. Period. Cut him free!

Didn't want him on the team but now that we're stuck with him, I'd rather see him given a shot. The Broncos changed their offense midseason for Tebow but the Jets can't pull it off? Are they as players/coaches really that far behind last years Broncos when it comes to intelligence or football smarts?

If your starting QB is one of the worst in the league & shows no improvement for weeks & statistically one of the worst in the NFL for multiple seasons ...... then you go to your backup QB doesn't matter who it is. If that guy fails then you go to your 3rd stringer. How hard is that to grasp?

The Tebow hate here is bordering on irrational. The backup QB should be getting a shot no matter what his name is. I'm stunned by how many posters put up crap about how they KNOW Tebow & McElroy will suck terribly and don't deserve a shot. When we've got one of the highest paid players in the league stinking it up & looking like he doesn't give a damn at starting QB every week.

Tebow's biggest problems is that he has bad mechanics?? Yet Sanchez stares down his receivers & double clutches every damn pass no matter what. They both suck. After watching Sanchez shit show unfold for so long, let somebody else get a shot even if it is gonna suck. Let's see the team at least show us all rocks will be overturned in trying to find a solution.

I agree with you ajax. The Tebow hate here is completely irrational. Especially when Mark Sanchez is your starter!!!.. The worst QB in the league.

Tebow should have been installed during the bye, give it a shot, if that failed go to McElroy.. One thing is for sure, Sanchez flat sucks. He cant be here next year.

Yeah, I could see that now. Tebow running a conventional offense(yeah they were going to change the offense in a week) lol, I don't know why anyone is surprised by our offensive ineptitude. WE HIRED SPARANO even though he wasn't the genius behind the wildcat. Rex and his GROUND AND POUND FUCKERY, you can't play that shit when you are down or if you have no offensive line. We are usually down and our offensive line sucks.

    Tebow > Sanchez.

Sanchez is the biggest mentally fragile qb ever. Tebow is the opposite.

If we hadn't drafted el Sancho, a healthy Brett favre definitely comes back for 1 more year. If he has anything close to the year he had in MN, we go to the Super Bowl.

People forget that Favre asked to be released immediately after Sanchez was drafted.

Favre plays 1 more year, breaks down. We proceed to suck with a Curtis painter type for 1 year, then draft RG3.

Reaching for Sancho f---ked up this franchise for 5-10 years.

    Ajax,

Spot on man, this Tebow crap is getting old. Who cares what his name is Mark sucks and the backup should be playing. If he sucks you go to the third stringer. I would be fired if my work was like Marks. The only way I keep Mark is if its for the vet min and a shit load of incentives.

Are we here to play in a manner that espn analysts tell us to play? All I hear from people that despise tebow is that he can't run a " conventional style offense".
Maybe the fans in Denver can say that because he actually was given a full series and games to play. We can't over here though. We haven't given him any chance. And with a quarterback that continues to show is full potential of how bad he is, I think it's deserving a chance to put someone else in? Geez. Sanchez had 4 years to show us how bad he is.

I'm not a tebow fan nor did I think it was the right move to bring him here. Right now our so called franchise qb, sansucks, is not the " coventional style " winner that the espn analysts want him to be. Tebow on the other hand has proven in his single year played that he can win. Isn't this why we are here to begin with, to win?
I don't care if Sanchez throws the **** ball underhand ( but you might becasue it's not conventional ) as long as we post "W's" and he doesn't turn the ball over throwing underhand. Which would be the hardest challenge for him. This guys doesn't have the head to play this position. Never did. We wanted hm to be something he wasn't and threw money at it like a true New York team always does. Thinking money will solve the issues.

It's not tebows fault he is here. H didn't deserve any of this shit pile he is standing in. If you remember our " conventional style " qb, Mark Sanchez is the reason why tebow is here to begin with because his play last year caused the cries for us to get a valid back up. It's because of Sanchez tebow is here and we should all remember that!

I'm glad someone else said what I have been for 4 years now. I didn't think the drafting of Sanchez was good for this organization for the reasons above. In 2009 with the team we had, ANY experienced qb gets us to the Super Bowl likewise in 2010. I still think we draft a qb in one of those years but let them learn like Rodgers and Brady did.
With the team we had in 2009-2010 those were the years we go after the SB and rebuild then after. Not train a rookie qb. Look at the colts. They rebuilt with a rookie QB up not grab a Super Bowl winning team and a rookie qb. That's backwards.
The team we had was a little older and more experienced and those players were there for one reason, to win the Super Bowl. That was a 2 year span at most. After that we knew we would have to rebuild so you rebuild in 2011 with a qb that has sat behind the experienced qb. We missed our window and players have left because we were winning in spite of Sanchez not with his help.

Every player that left this team said the same about Sanchez. He is just not what everyone expects him to be. And now instead of the second year of rebuilding with a good second third year quarter back, we are now trying to find a way to get rid of his contract! We are now another 4-5 years behind!

This is some very hopeful revisionist history.

Favre always wanted to play for Minnesota to beat the Pack. Plus that move put him in a dome where conditions for him were perfect.

If he came back for the Jets it is unlikely he would have stayed injury-free and replicated the results he had in Minnesota, which, by the way, was the same thing Sanchez got this team.

Please cut the chicken shit about Tebow being for Mark Sanchez, Tebow was here to get the TEBOTS in the stands also for them to buy TEBOT jerseys. TEBOW BEING HERE WAS NOT A FOOTBALL MOVE, IT WAS A MONEY MOVE

One question for you what has the team done to make him get better??

    Same draft class
Stafford has Megatron and viable running back also a decent O coordinator
Freeman has VJax and a viable running back and a decent O coordinator
Sanchez has a revolving door at wr(Peyton Manning,Brady, Rodgers he is not. WE KNOW THIS) our running back goes down on first contact and the O line is usually two to three yards in the backfield.

It also doesn't help to have a head coach who had no clue what an NFL offense is(started going to offensive meetings this year WTF is that?). TANNY WHAT KIND OF FUCKING HIRE WAS THAT, I thought a learned person like him would have thought lets get a coach in who knows football not a specialist on one side of the ball.
