DVR>>>>> I watched both Jets and Knicks games in their entirety minus many commericals! It's rare that they both win on the same day. All in all a good day for NY. Knicks are 7-1, that's pretty awesome. Keepin it Woodson! I'm still worried about how they are going to integrate Stats when he comes back and we still need to improve our fast breaks. It seems like the one issue that plagued us this year and late last year, was when our fast breaks turn into points for them. That should never happen, and I think they need to get Melo more shot attempts.

Thats awesome I mean to never have back to back losses just shows his philo is working and bringing in these guys like Kidd and Felton Wallace and Camby just improves the entire roster and Stoudimire and SHUMP have yet to come back and explode on the league I cant wait till halfway through the season to see where we are.

An extended non lockout season should help all of our guys stay healthy

Easy win, rarely could say that in years past. Woodson seems to have got this team to be able to end games before the 4th. D'Antoni's teams struggled with this but our roster makeup was MUCH different also. Woodson just connects better with these guys, specifically Melo

Wow. Carter in the restricted area and slid under Melo on Melo's 180 layup and they call a charge. That type of night for Melo.

Melo has 5 fouls, 4 offensive. He has been forcing stuff and doing stupid things to get offensive fouls out of frustration

MArion strips Melo as he's driving, half a second later Kaman unitentionally pops Melo in the mouth. Melo goes to the ground, Mavs don't score, Knicks down 1 with the last shot now. Expect a MElo forced shot or drive, that's the way Melo wants to do this

Yep, Melo double clutches and misses. Fouls Jones who is at the line with 3 seconds. Knicks have 0 timeouts left

    Melo fouls out.

Atrocious calls by the refs down the stretch.

Knicks lose their second game of the season, no longer hold onto the best record in the league. Mayo and Carter go off, Knicks got away from their D and turned the ball over often. Good win for the Mavs, Marion played good agaisnt Melo. Chandler played out of his mind offensively, shyed away on defense a couple times. Knicks just fall short.

I mean, if the standard rule of position on a charge call is set in stone...the call against Anthony has to be one of the worst I have ever seen.

Its almost as if the ref didnt buy any human being could have left his feet and turned and make a shot the way Melo did because it was physically impossible for the defender to be in position when Melo started that incredible move.

On a side note, forget about his shooting being a tad off lately but Novack is making it easy for Woody to see who will be benched once Schump and A.S. come back. He is being lit up on defense and not showing much interest in anything other than shooting. No rebounding..no defense..nothing.
