Guess U have not heard of hand/eye coordination. Either U got it or U do not & in Hills case it looks like he fall into the do not catagory
Nah Hills problem is eye/hand coordination. Some have it & some do not & sorry to say Hill falls into the do not catagory
I just had this thought. And then I thought I should share it. What if Hill's problem is simply he does not have good hand eye coordination? I don't know if that sort of thing can be taught, either. Scary, huh?
Hill was a decent pick?? He has cost us games by dropping easy passes,He catches that ball agains't the Pats then we more then likley win that game.He just makes to many mistakes,Im sure he will get better but how much better??? Dropping passes regulary is a bad sign,it's one thing when a WR can't run a route right but dropping passes is hard to fix,he just doesn't have great hands. He looks the part he is tall n fast but he isn't a NFL WR yet . he may never be
Hill still can't get it done it seems. He's a rookie, so it's not surprising. The issue is he drops almost every pass sent in his direction. We need him to become our Victor Cruz, but it looks like he's at least a year away from being a difference maker. It's a shame because we needed him to emerge this year to stand a chance.
Ever hear of eye/hand coordination? That is his problem. Some have it like Jerry Rice other like Hill just are not born with it sorry to say. Poor research by our R & D dept.
Guess U never heard of eye/hand coordination. Some have it like Jerry Rice some do not like Hill. Bad job researching him by our R & D Dept Oh yes look back in NYJ history & look up Johnny Lam Jones
Just a thought on Hill... He has good eyes and he has good hands. I think the problem may lie in trying to coordinate the two. In some ways he reminds me of Johhny "Lam" Jones. Just a theory I've come up with.
Lam Jones = jumped for balls he didn't need to when he caught them. It was bizarre. Do you remember this Champ?
What gives me some hope is that Braylon had a lot of drops in Cleveland and in the first year here but that was corrected. I know that was Ellard as WR coach and now they have Lal so it remains to be seen if Lal can help straighten him out. The guy certainly has no problem getting open. Keep feeding him and let's see what happens since the season is basically shot anyway.
Yeah I'm starting not to like the Hill pick as much. People keep saying hand eye coordination but I dont think thats it. He always looks away from the ball and other times its like he cant even find it. He starts to look away getting ready to run before the ball is in his hands. Yesterday on the very catchable deep pass Hill never sees it for a second. Maybe get him some contact lenses.
Its 10 games into his rookie year where everyone knew he was a very raw pick. Don't be retarded he accomplished more in week 1 than Gholston did in his career.
Tell us all what does VG have to do with SH? Also stop making excuses as it sounds just like VG all over again. Either you have hand/eye coordination or you do not & in Hill case it appears like he was passed by with that skill
Vernon Gholston has nothing to do with Stephen Hill. Thats what I just said. How is it an excuse? The guy has played 10 pro games. I didn't even compliment him. He has a hard time seeing the ball. Thats a fact. Is it an excuse because I actually hope he finds a way to improve and you in all your bitterness loves that the Jets aren't playing well and root for everyone to fail. You can improve on dropping footballs. Many receivers do it. Thanks for once again proving why you are one of the worst posters on this forum. (Sad face)
Nah, I've never heard of it? What's that? Come on dude. Catching mechanics can be taught, he's only halfway through his rookie season. Most rookie receivers don't do jack in their first year in the NFL. I think coaching and reps will eventually help him improve his game. Thinking a rookie won't ever improve is just silly. Also hand eye coordination CAN DEFINITELY be improved on with reps, hence the ability for gamers to improve their video game play. Hill just needs to spend more time with the ball machine catching balls.
