1) Crazy ending to the post. 2) Your ending also makes no sense. Best case is the QB that just was the winning QB for two games gets hurt? Didn't think that one out
This is a football game. What the hell is wrong with your mind? Wishing that he break his leg in 51 pieces is pathetic.
He had a nice bootleg and some nice passes and did a good job avoiding the rush. I didn't see the whole game, but when I was watching, he didn't throw any bad passes. He played a solid game and his surrounding cast is still pretty weak.
He had one bad throw I can remember right away. It was on Hill's PI. Not sure if it was bad because Hill slipped but it still looked too high and there were 2-3 defenders there
Everybody on this board would be okay with this if he performed this way every game. He doesnt though. He performs like this once every 3 or 4 games. He has had multiple turnovers in 6 games this season. At this rate, all we as fans ask for is no turnovers. He doesnt have to carry the team even in year four, he just cant turn the ball over like that. We cant even get that. I wanted to be right for so long about defending Sanchez, but he has just been beyond disappointing with his regression through year 4.
Let's stop with the pathetic, "don't hope for an injury" comments. I didn't hope for him to get killed, the guy is making tens of millions of dollars for playing his dog shit play for the Jets. How many guys wouldn't take a broken leg for tens of millions of dollars? I certainly would, and 99.9999% of you who say you wouldn't are liars. Mark Sanchez is dog shit. A non-serious injury that knocks him out a game isn't just a huge favor to the fans, it's a favor to Mark Sanchez. He could retire tomorrow with his many millions and be remembered for his couple of successful seasons, or he could drag out his "career" for another 18 games and go down as the second coming of Rick Myer.
It's amazing what a successful run game and some time to throw will do for a QB's performance. Again I will stress, give Sanchez protection and a running game and he will be successful. Giving up on him is ridiculous.
Sanchez still sucks Against a bad team as long as he doesnt' suck too much we win. If we need him to actually play well, we r f***ed.
You're not talking about some d-bag who has earned the right to be given a painful, debilitating injury
Yup. He managed the game well today, and we have seen that from him before. I just wish we saw it more often.
lol it's posts like that that make me wish Sanchez did get removed, just so guys like that could see how bad Tebow really is and be sorry they ever wished ill on Sanchez.
You're acting kind of like this was some stellar game by Mark. here's an interesting little tidbit: Length of Drives: (yards) 34 30 5 20 28 33 -1 31 63 38 -3 -3 -1 Longest drive of 68 yards, next longest was 38. Hell, total offense was 289 yards. Let's not delude ourselves here. We won because we took care of the ball, capitalized on the turnovers, and we were playing a bad team.
You pick BTW, while you were attempting to make a point, remember that last year, Tebow had fewer than 16 starts under his belt. Pretty sure this was Mark's 62nd start ????
Agreed, it's no coincidence that Sanchez looks suddenly competent when the running game is working and he gets time to throw. That said, good quarterbacks pick up the rest of the offense when a unit like the runningbacks or the o-line falters. Sanchez falls apart, and that's why he's not the long term solution for the Jets.
