Anyone see the day Montel Harris had for Temple? 351 yards on 36 carries for 7 TDs.

I realize it was against Army but those are impressive numbers anyway you look at it.

Boston College transfer, has an upright running style.

Army seemed to have no players in the middle of the field...where were the Lbs and safetys?

    The 2 guys on Stanford;
    Chase Thomas - OLB 6-4 245.
    Shayne Skov -- ILB/OLB 6-3 243.

I'm a bigger fan of Skov. What I like about both of them is something that I think is lacking from our defense. Football intelligence - knowing your role & your responsibilities.

Both are big time players, Skov is having an incredible game.

I'm a huge Chase Thomas fan.

Tavon Austin reminds of Darren Sproles.

I'm a. If Thomas fan as well. I would not be upset at all to see him In green and white in April.

No Idea, they seemed completely outmatched.

Harris impressed me against Louisville and UConn, I think he maybe making a case to regain some of his former stock.

Yeah he is more so Pecry Harvin that Sproles.

    To me

Rnd 1: Star or Te O
    Rnd 2 T Austin
    Rnd 3 K Barner
    Rnd 4 Ryan Nassib

After that I am drafting O line depth and the best tightend on the board

I would be thrilled to have any of these Cardinal players, all are smart hard working, great character players.

Skov had a huge game and improved his draft stock.

I've seen Skov pretty high in some mock drafts & rankings, like rounds 3-4.
A lot of people felt he lost a couple of steps in the 2011 injury.
I can definitely see him getting into round 2.

I totally agree, Skov could be drafted in Rd 2, in fact, all 4 players could be 2nd rd picks.

Somebody's gotta help me find a way to get John Simon (Ohio St.) drafted on this team. 6-2 263, -- he just can't make it as a 4-3 DE. Must be 3-4 rush OLB like a Vrabel/Ninkovich clone.

I want him if he's there in the 3rd round.

Mike Glennon would be a great early round 2 target. He has prototypical size at 6'6 and has easily the best arm in the class. He is a victim of shitty play around him with WR's constantly dropping passes which hurt his stats, but his tape tells a different story. This kid has everything you want in a QB. I would love to pick him in the 2nd, let him sit a year and build an offense around him.

He also doesnt seem like a diva that would be overwhelmed by NY.

Some of his throws just make you say "wow", and he can easily make any throw in a NFL playbook. He is kind of a statue in the pocket, but he makes up for it in arm talent. Trent Dilfer said that he has a very good football IQ also.

You can check out some of his games here-

This draft is so much better in rounds 2, 3 and 4 than it is at the top. If there ever wasa draft to compile mid round picks this would be the one.,

I completely agree. I've been saying this for a while.

    I see two scenarios-

    1. Jarvis Jones or Manti TeO (which we might have just won ourselves at a shot at them; typical Jets)

    2. Trade back and get at least another 2nd round pick

I want Jarvis Jones in the 1st, a pass rusher will do so much to this team

That means getting off the field on 3rd down more consistently. Jones and Sapp can be our future OLB duo when you think about it

    Coples/Ellis/Wilkerson
    Sapp/Harris/Davis/Jones
    Revis/Landry/?????/Cromartie

    thats a deadly defense

Still like Bjoern Werner. High involvement player that is relentless.
