Outstanding defense is what I saw. Short fields, and a great run after the catch from JCo. However, Sanchez did hit the wide open receivers. I wish he could do that now.
The season Parcells took the team to AFCCG is the one I like to look back on. Became a Vinny fan & really enjoyed how he was having this resurgence at the end of his career (kind of like Plunkett). Plus the Kotite era wasn't that long ago & it just seemed weird for the Jets to actually be a good team. Jets really beat themselves with so many damn turnovers in that game. Whoever went to the SB was gonna win it. Falcons weren't gonna beat Denver or NYJ.
The ONLY I will REPEAT that ONLY "BEST TIME" for NYJ FB was the 68 season, the PO win over Oak in 68 & then winning SB3 so sorry I disagree totally with your post/thread
Wow a good game Sanchez had 2 years ago , what about the last 24 ,This video is proof of why we can't fire Rex, I belive he will get us back to this again. Look at that catch by Holmes and people want him gone, what other reciver on our team can make a play like that
The entire 1998 season brings back way better times. Being there to watch the Jets win a home playoff game against Jax was as good as it gets.
Nope winning SB3 was the very best & next very best was beating Oak in the 68 PO game. After SB3 the NYJs have been on a deep, deep decline into the crapper
