Looking back on it, even though Tebow has a big fanbase, if those comments were directed to Sanchez, the locker room will be a complete chaos, and somebody would have been fired by now.
I really thought Rex and Tanny might go on the offensive against the media for citing anonymous sources. Rex certainly didn't, saying he told the players it's cowardly to do it. Now, Francessa asks Tanny how he felt about players ripping Tebow and he responds with, "I hated it." I really wanted to not believe the players would start this crap again, but Rex and Tanny are basically saying it happened. If Rex still can't control his team after last year, I'm leaning more and more towards wanting him out.
unnamed sources = bullshit. when a reporter uses "unnamed sources" he can make up whatever bs he/she wants to b/c there is no attribution of the made up comments to anybody. so the point is you have no idea what a person actually may have said and what this hack manish says they said. no way to verify the information - thus its total bullshit. the fact that we have vaginas in the locker room that would actually talk about fellow teammates to a reporter shows you that we have some bad apples in this group and hopefully those players will be identified and cut. F them - everybody hates whiners, complainers and pussy tattle tales who don't even have the balls to stand up like a man and take responsibility for their statements. Manish should not get Shit for access from here on out.
Well said. They idiocy of the whole thing is that : a) It shows like of unity and we have low performers making shit comments behind a players back (that-by-the-way is not even starting). They should be worrying about their own performance b) We have an idiot owner that brought this circus on. c) We have a mediocre non NFL ready QB that we were stupid enough to extend his contract thanks to a personnel evaluation group and/or decision makers that dont appear to know shit about the offensive side of the football. d) We DO NOT HAVE THE KIND of leadership that builds dynasties, like the Steelers, the Packers and the Patriots. Until we find a leadership that knows and breaths winning football instead of selling seats and keeping us cap friendly we will be nothing but a joke.......
So when Tim Tebow got voted most overrated in an NFL poll with 52 first place votes, I guess nobody suspected all the votes came from the Jets
Actually I think it reflects your naivity & lack of understanding of the situation. In case U never heard the old saying where there is smoke there is FIRE
of course, but basing an entire story on "unnamed sources" is complete bullshit and should not even be published b/c all it essentially is - is 100% unsubstantiated bullshit whining and gossip. in other words this sensationalized bullshit is trumped up to sell papers. there was no response from the Jets b/c there is no need for a response to bullshit stories like what mannish was peddling. i hope he never gets another interview w/anybody on the Jets.
They're really saying that Tebow is terrible on the punt team? Clearly that's the only thing they could be talking about as he's never started a game as the Jets QB so they can't be speaking about him as a QB of this team.
Just heard Schefter on Sunday NFL Countdown saying Cromartie is the likely culprit of the anonymous comments
Rex, Tanny and Sanchez get canned after this year. Bring Gruden in and let him build a winner with Tebow. They are both proven winners. That's the only chance left for this downtrodden franchise.
If you can't tell there's sarcasm in that post then God help you. Besides it's better than what we currently have
