I say the game stays close till the begginging of the 4th qtr where its a 13-13 tie until Sanchez get's lightly sacked and fumbles the ball at our own 20 giving th Rams a 7 point lead. But it's not over yet Mark Sanchez has the ball in his hands with 2 min left and 3 timeouts to try n tie the game but he throws a pick 6 on his first pass and out route to Kerley sealing the game and sealing our fate. And ill go as far to predict the post game press confrenece, Rex will come out and say he still loves Sanchez and he is our QB while trying to hold back tears
Eh, I dont think it should... I mean people have to know that this team is a mess and that they can easily lose to the Rams. If some people dont realize this yet, then yes, this board could become a mess. Ive given up hope on this season and it makes the games far less stressful and the post game losses far less depressing since I dont care nearly as much as I did/do when they were/are competitive.
our defense will play well enough but Sanchez will find a way to lose the game for us like he has so many times this season.I swear every time Sanchez gets sacked it's almost always a fumble, i mean really hold onto the fucking ball, make quick throws ,throw it away enough with the bad desicion making . If Tebow got Sacked he would hang onto the ball, and he doesn't throw INT's, Thats the benefit of having Tebow out there
I am going to keep this post in mind tomorrow. Should the Jets win, this board will know to avoid your revelations like the plague.
I wish Sanchez will have his best game ever, something like 30/35, 300+ yards, 4 TDs, 0 Int. He has a big heart and great potential. If we can give him a little bit space, he will bring Jets to unprecedented success.
Like he hasn't had time before. Enough with fuckin excuses. The guy sucked with weapons and a great oline. He sucked with schotty and without him. He hasn't got better in four fuckin years! He's one of the worst QBs in the league. You would make fun of have fans for think Gabbert is good right? Well that's the way everyone feels about us. He has held this team back big time!
anyway, JETS wont lose this one. Even if Jackson runs about I dont see this team breaking down to the RAMS. Cant wait for thanksgiving game.
He was a middle of the pack QB when he had Holmes, Braylon, Cotchery, and Keller. When you have an average QB, you elevate his play by surrounding him by playmakers (example - Alex Smith in S.F). When you don't put playmakers around an average QB, the result is simple really, Mark Sanchez in 2012.
He is and was never a " middle of the road qb". Not when are qb is at the bottom of the list in every category amongst starting qb's. He has caused division amongst this team for two years straight now. I never thought we should have taken him first round and definitely thought we would have been better having a "middle of the road qb" in 2009 and 2010. With the team we had those two year we not only make the playoffs but we go tothe superbowl. We just needed an experienced qb with those teams. He didn't beat Brady, are defense did. Had him shook the whole game. We should have started drafting a rookie the either in 2010 or 2011 and had hm sit under the experienced qb at that point. Sanchez had one year to prove he was anything in college. Obviously that is not enough time to see. Should have listened to the damn coach that coached him, carrol. He shouldn't have come out early. You know, that's why I don't feel sorry for the guy. This will be his last year in the league. That's what happens when you get greedy and want to come out before your ready. He deserves every bit of abuse he is getting right now.
This is Sanchez's last year in the league? Hahaha what? He will still be under contract with the NYJ. The speculation is amazing.
I think we win this game, and hopefully get 2 wins in 5 days to put us in WC contention. If you think about it, Colts = we have tiebreaker , Steelers = no Big Ben, Chargers Bills Titans = We play all of them and control if we have tiebreaker. If we finish 9-7 we make playoffs, unlikely yes, but not impossible.
The Problem with that argument is that Sanchez has never statistically even been average, even in the years he had weapons and a good O-line he was a bottom 1/4 QB in nearly every category that matters. And believe it or not I'm being generous there, he was bottom 1/5 in way too many categories every year. Only once has he been average in any real category, the year he threw 26 TD's he made the top 1/3 of the league in that important category. But it's the only time he's been over the 50% mark, and most of the time below the bottom 75% mark. His passing yards in 2011, for example, put him exactly at 50%. However that total yards in 2011 does need to be tempered by the fact he attempted the 9th most passes.
My dad needs me to take a ride out to Long Island with him for the day. This will be the first time both miss watching a Jets game live in IDK how long. Feels weird, but maybe it's for the best. Who knows with this team anymore.... With that said, we match-up stat wise with the Rams, which isn't a good thing. Rams are coming off a tiring OT tie, and we are coming off an embarrassing loss. Again, who knows with this team anymore. I'd like to think we squeak out a win.
