The Knciks have lost the rebounding battle all 7 games. Amare doesn't help that from what we have seen. It is yet to be seen if he will buy into Woody's system like every other player has. That means he has to commit to rebounding and defense, something he hasn't had to do all his career because of his coaching or lack of defensive coaching

Steve Novak even though he's been off should be in the game. Maybe he can get it going.

Yet to be seen if he helps. He bogs down the offense with MElo and Chandler out there. Woodson needs to bring off the bench, something we haven't seen yet.

Melo at the 4 also brings Melo's efficiency way up. Amare is worrisome. This is a game where Shump would be great. THrow him on Conley and tell keep him out of the paint all night long. Or throw him on Gay so Kidd isn't on him

Melo, Chandler mocking refs on bench. Smiling and laughing along with Sheed at the last foul call. Knicks will be fine. Big road trip still. Needed to split this night and last night which they did. Hardest part of the trip

And game 1 of NY-Miami MT @NYKnicksPodcast Ed Malloy is the ref. Same guy who was reffing during all those Celtics/Heat games last May.

Ed Malloy, explains everything. Guy is one of the most inconsistent refs in the league. He has trouble

Knicks not quitting which is nice. They would mentally check out quite a bit with D'Antoni. They also played worse more often under D'Antoni and you need defense to get back into games.

Zbo killing Chandler on the boards. Chandler!

If the refs didn't get all whistle happy in the 3rd, then this would be more interesting

If it weren't for these refs I'd almost believe they could have pulled the comeback.

knicks stepped it up offensively, but forgot they have to play defense.

Ehh a lot of the quick gimmie calls in the 4th were the refs trying to make up in our favor, it just never sent us to the line.

The Grizzlies played better for a longer period of time. But definitely been closer if they didn't get all happy seeing a player in blue and blowing the whistle.

But, we are on the road. I'm sure over the course of the season we will get a game from the refs like this at MSG. Oh and second half of a back to back. Definitely wanted to go 82-0, but not happening

That is interesting that this ref messed up the Celtics/Heat series but the two most recent games we have with him are one sided affairs where the other team goes on runs where everything we do leads to free throws for them

So Grizzlies undefeated at home, have beat Miami (not that big of deal, we did too, scrub team) and then beat the Thunder on the road.

Tough loss, but we did steal one in SA

You can't win 'em all. 6-1 I'll take it.

refs were a hot pile of shit tonight. That 3rd quarter they made every call and technical against the Knicks. Still we fought, but came up short.

Sunday at noon is another tough game
