Gotta love this team, they're starting to make the '70's Yankees look sane.

The 90s Cowboys were a flying circus too. Only difference was they won Super Bowls.

Great article Bannon. Really highlights a lot into this 'controversy'.

Proves that it all starts with Tanny. I'm inclined to believe that the team isn't a bunch of idiots like I did earlier this morning.

Side-note: I'm falling in love with Bart Scott. He has such a great attitude, even if he's a 50 year old linebacker trying to chase 20 year olds:smile:

And not for nothing but we have the same problem with Greene we do with Sanchez, there simply isn't a better option on the roster (though you could argue McElroy should be given a look once the season really gets out of hand). Especially with every other back getting nicked up. That's on our brilliant GM too, the fact there really aren't better options for underperforming players.

Like someone said elsewhere, how many teams would Sanchez be a starting QB on besides ours, maybe two? How many teams would Greene be a starting RB on? That number's probably similar at best.

Ya know, this is just a mess.

Woody needs to step in here, behind the scenes and set things straight because otherwise he's about to have an enormous embarrassment on his hands. He pays the checks and he needs to remind more than a few people that it is a privilege to work/play for the NY Jets.

Otherwise this is going to turn into a flaming wreck faster than you can say "whothefuckisinchargehere?"

Every Jets player should pull a name out of a hat and blame another random Jets player for the failure of the team at this point. This is a joke. Kotite's teams all sucked, but they weren't selling each other out like this.

    Rex must go!!!!

BTW.....Barcs will still swear all the dissension is made up, and there is no issues with Tanny, Rex or the Jets locker room.

Thanks. Saw him touch upon Woody's thing. Only logical explanation for the trade and knowing Tebow's limitations and then not knowing how to use him. It had to come from the top.

We will really see if headlines are headlines are to him.

this is ridiculous , it's gonna end up costing Rex his job unless bringing in Tebow was forced on him by Woody and Mr T. I have a feeling Rex had did not want Tebow to begin with, Why would Rex want Tebow to begin with when he obviously won't take Sanchez out of the game. If Rex was for the Tebow trade he would have put Tebow in by now

Greene is right. He was asked the question and he didn't back down from it or want to remain "Anonymous" like some of these assholes.

nothing he said can even remotely be interpreted that he was excluding himself from the same criteria. of course, if you can't dispute what he said may as well try the old ad hominem.

Sounds like Green wants out so he can go run for 1500 yards for the Pats. Wait...we'll let go of him and he will go do it somewhere with a real OL.

Is it just me, or has the media been focusing less on Sanchez and more on Tebow during this week?

In other words, it's been less on how Sanchez sucks and more of how Tebow has been put in. Maybe it gets some of the pressure off of Sanchez and help Tebow perform better (he has said he thrives under criticism).

He can't put Tebow in at all...and it's because of poor planning by Tanny. Tebow cannot start until it is certain that he would not have played in 55% of the snaps this year. He's played in around 10% thus far. If he does hit 55%, his 2013 contract balloons by $5M and our 2013 cap situation becomes impossible. Not to mention we would be paying $20M in QB's for Sanchez and Tebow when the Broncos pay Manning $19M. Could you imagine that scenario?

Until Tebow's contract escalator is not a concern (earliest New England), there is no real Sanchez/Tebow debate. Just Sanchez. McElroy does not seem to have any consideration from this FO. Once the Jets are sure Tebow's contract doesn't crush them in 2013, Rex can actually decide whether he wants to start him or not. Until then, Tebow as an option to start is illusory.

We need an overhaul. I've been a big proponent of keeping everything together and adding a few pieces here or there but we need to trim down this roster and move forward.

I bet Sanchez is thinking that there needs to be a change at RB, if you put it in that perspective.
