Set aside your dislike for him for a second . Do you think it's a good thing for team mates and team offcials to anonymously rip each other ? Also ( and I am not religious at all ) your intolerance of religion is pretty transparent .
Reading the tweets sent to Manish this morning is bringing me such pleasure. Steve Hunter @SportsGeek33 For all the criticism of @MMehtaNYDN, I think he's a good writer. Problem is he knows f*ck all about football and has the morals of a whore. Andrew Hinrichs @AndrewHinrichs "@MMehtaNYDN is fucking disgusting. That dude smells so bad and everyone at the Daily News talks about it," a prominent journalist told me sethedel @sethedel @MMehtaNYDN something to be real proud of. Good luck at the national enquirer
I do not know what your "expectations" but mine were 6-10 or lower which I posted here way before the season started Oh yes I am a NYJ STHer since 1965
This is why you can't have a rational discussion about Tebow -- too many posters have some sort of deep seated, borderline bigoted hatred for him. Anyway, agree with the majority of posters in the thread -- this team is a mess. Regardless of Tebow's ability or lack thereof, you don't publically trash a teammate that hasn't done anything wrong. You also don't trash your receivers when your quarterback has now been 27th or worse in completion percentage for 4 straight years. The whole thing needs to be blown up. The Ryan era is over.
This makes a lot of sense: Damien Woody @damienwoody Ppl need to understand that if u go to Tebow then u would have to go to his system & the Jets don't have the personnel to run it #nyj
Tomorrow ? Welcome to the 24 hour news cycle. I have no doubt that there will be articles like that up in a couple of hours.
Champ, as much of a darksider as you are, you can't honestly believe that anyone can guarantee a Superbowl anymore than I can guarantee I won't get hit by a bus tomorrow. Anyone who ever bought that is as much at fault as Rex for ever saying it.
Seriously. If the team views him as a distraction and not a real QB, they should just cut him and let Bellicheck pick him up on the cheap to put into his wacky offense somewhere. But what I would really like to know is whether the Jets players actually feel that they would be performing better without him and why, since he barely does anything as is.
What did Manish do wrong? It's a story that generates a ton of interest, and it's true. It's obviously not in the Jets' best interest, but that's not his concern. This is on the players. You don't bash teammates to the media, period. Not ever, not for any reason. But most especially, you don't bash backups when you're 3-6.
Never in the modern era has a borderline / average player commanded such attention....only the Jets could want a part of that whole fucking circus. My comments on preaching were in bad taste and I apologise if I offended ... This franchise is in ridicule at this moment and a whole clean up in the offseason is needed...starting with removing the circus acts
