We are stuck with Sanchez we aren't with Tebow, things are already a circus no point in creating a shitstorm with the QB we are forced to keep for a person that isn't even capable of throwing an accurate football with no hope of correcting that anytime soon.
Dan Leberfield actually asked Rex, what was his fatal attraction to sanchez and why does he he give him the chance to win. You can tell the question bothered Rex and he responded by saying, because he said so.....
Rex continues to throw blocks for the douchebags who traded up to draft Sanchez #5. The same douchebags who gave Sanchez a contract extension after last season. The same douchebags who traded for Tebow. The same docuhebags who should be on the unemployment line once the season ends. And I thought Rex was a guy who said what was on his mind. Woody can take his PSLs and stick him up his ass...where they belong...
we have a very easy rest of the season minus the pats game which i think we can win..we still make playoffs imho
At this rate it looks like Rex will be gone at seasons end. Shame is with a better QB he may have lasted for many years as the Jets HC. Even worst the next HC will be stuck with Mark for at least one more year. An what is truly worst then that is, so will Jets fans.
we have some really weak defenses coming up that we play, more like buffalo type defenses than seattle type defenses
If only it were that simple... but it's not, total offense the Jets are actually better than the Rams, one of two teams the Jets are actually better than. We all know this six degrees of separation doesn't work with football.
Not when the owner says Tebow will see the end of his contract here, but hasn't given the starting QB that vote of confidence.
The starting QB is locked in due to his money owed. Woody wouldn't eat that just to have Tebow starting, right?
Tebow's contract is able to be cut, Sanchez is not. and the owner said that when we still had a prayer this season, those words mean nothing now.
No, I'm with you. They put it it right in their own ass when they gave Sanchez that fat extension. That being said, the owner is on record saying Tebow will see the end of his contract. The owner has NEVER said Sanchez is his guy. Again.......part of the fucked up Jets organization.
The jets had a chance to end the circus by trading/cutting tebow during the bye. They didn't and have no chance of turning this around. Maybe if they would quit wasting time on th eyebrow package in practice they could actually execute plays. They need to make a complete commitment to tebow or Sanchez and get back to basics.
Not being a man of his word is exactly the man Woody is. Tebow is here simply because of headlines, the second that is gone Woody's use for him is zero.
If the Jets' plan is to use Tebow the way that he has been used - he is a curse rather than a blessing. Whatever either QB's value is, the constant roulette of plays between the two is dizzying and counter productive. Tis experiment is serving to create more problems for the NYJ's offense than it is for any opposing defense. Pick one and stick with them. Further retarding any momentum, Sporano seems to substitute them out when they accomplish something on the field.
Fair enough. There isn't consistency top to bottom in the organization. It seems we tried to fix the inconsistency between our HC and OC this offseason but the guy at the top seems to go against the other players (especially if it's true he pushed for the Tebow trade and then pushed away from the hypothetically trade to JAX before the deadline)
I still think Woody sees $$ in Tebow, not Sanchez despite their contracts. They are both locked up, so why not pay both what they make now but force Tebow on us?
Because that is a very expensive mistake to admit and no owner wants to make that call until they know for sure that it is a loss. And with everything else wrong with this offense and there is plenty, that is enough of an excuse to give Sanchez his vote of confidence
