Point to the 3 years Tanny was great in?

I see a huge draft in 2006 with 10 picks that produced 2 NFL starters, both in the 1st round and 3 other players worth having but none of them big impact guys.

I see a cherry picking festival in 2007 with Revis and Harris taken and then two guys not in the NFL any more.

I see another cherry picking festival in 2008 that produced two guys still in the NFL and one of those was discarded by the team fairly quickly.

I just don't see these great drafts you're talking about. I see a front office that basically has whiffed on everything they've tried unless they put all the balls in one basket or had a huge number of shots in the lottery that year.

I think Tannenbaum deserves a little more credit. He got ripped weeks ago, but honestly just because our talent has no names, they are making names for themselves.

Hes given Rex a team that is fully capable of beating New England, cant ask for much more imo.

Tenenbaum needs to step his game up

we don't need to look far just look at what giants have done

Hixon, Nicks, Cruz, Bennet, Barden and in the past guys lik Smith

it's disgusting to see Giants load up on all these underrated guys who blossom when given the chance to play. Where's sanchez's weapons?

We needed major offseason help and he did NOTHING.

Woody also killed us: he obviously told MT not to spend $$$. The Jets have lost tens of millions because of poor PSL sales.

Woody is not covering the losses with JNJ stock or his other holdings.

Bottom line - the Jets have the worst talent evaluation in the league. Bar none.

That's debatable. The injuries obviously hurt, but I don't know who pushed for it, but we really let our offensive talent slip away in the trenches and at the skill position after 2010-2011. That continued onto this year where we panicked and have Howard starting because Hunter was so bad. We also have Ducasse jumping into the G position because Slauson and Moore have underperformed

    He's an amateur
    1) Draft has been wildly inconsistent
    2) Fucked up Tebow trade by not realizing Tebow was due a certain bonus which nearly nixed the trade
    3) Gave Sanchez an extension when it was clear he was struggling.

This is simply someone not suited for the position they hold,.

He drafted Suck-chez. End of story.

If you need more reasons why he should be fired, there are at least 25 others.

#2 might not be on Tanny. It might be higher up in the organization

hes not even good at contracts man. extending holmes after 1 season instead of tagging or franchising, same with Sanchez. you gotta be kidding me, espiecally when guys like Joe Flacco and Matt Ryan are still on their first contracts.

Definitely, we don't know if he was rushed or forced into to on top of that. I feel like Woody pushed that whole move onto the team/coaches/players. There is nothing you can do since he is the higher up. Let me say this, I root for the Knicks, Jets, and Yankees and Woody seems to be closer to James Dolan than Steinbrenner, and that's the wrong end of the spectrum.

How about hiring Sparano, the offensive ineptitude has been on display since the preseason, it seems that everyone forgets this. Whoever the QB is, we will continue to SUCK ASS, s long as he is calling plays.

I'm giving the guy a couple seasons here. We gave Schotty 6 with different talent and QBs and he couldn't establish an identity. I can see why Sparano is having trouble. If we do draft a new QB, then I want a new OC, an OC genius. With our ? and lack of QB for the next 1 1/2 years, I'll keep him for now.

And a new QB coach when we draft a QB

The Jets have been in win now mode since Tanny took over.

The Jets didn't win. Now the Jets are losing.

    Thus, chaos and disorder.

The way I see it, either clean house or keep the whole gang together. Making individual changes just won't cut it anymore.

If they do decide to keep the gang together then the mentality needs to shift from win now to foundation building. If they decide to clean house same deal.

The bandaids are starting to rot through.

If we draft a new QB we should also get a new head coach, one on the offensive side of the ball. The QB is too important to have the head coach not on that side of the ball when you are putting that much value into the position.

Sanchez looks like a failure at this point. If the Jets want to keep Rex they should go out and get a veteran QB to run the offense opposite Rex's defense. There's no way the Jets will both develop the defense Rex wants to have and also develop a young QB. They just won't put enough value on the offensive side of the ball.

That's why you go get an offensive head coach when you draft the new guy. He'll make sure there's enough talent around the young guy to give him a shot at being a star.

    Why should he?
You have Tebow who he doesn't know how to use him effectively
Constantly breaks offensive momentum with the Tebow substitutions even Tebow gains 9 yards on 1st and 10 you sub in Mark; might as keep him in, dont you think? or even a better example Mark throw for 38 yards then you bring in Tebow. Fucking stupid if you ask me. How many 3 and short dumb playcalls have we seen all season? Too many to count, plus the Patriots game down four you play for a FG? He has to go! You also cannot develop any kind of rhythm with this herky jerky offense.

Yep, as brainless as Tanny drafting offensive skill position players who are all at the bottom of the league in stats and would be sitting on the bench on any other team.
