Cutting Sanchez, take a big cap hit.

Trade for Matt Flynn, lose important draft picks that can fill other needs.

    Terrible idea in my eyes.

He doesn't deserve another year but Mitt Romney has a better chance of being the President than Woody not giving Tanny another year to fix his mess.

it would be worth it to trade Sanchez for Phillip Rivers. Atleast Rivers has the ability to be a great QB he is just on the wrong team

So you are suggesting that a QB who could not win a Super Bowl with LaDainian Tomlinson behind him and Antonio Gates at TE and Vincent Jackson and Malcolm Floyd at WR and Darren Sproles as the third down back and Mike Tolbert as the FB is going to come in here and make Shonn Greene, Dustin Keller, Jeremy Kerley, Stephen Hill and got knows who into a good unit?

San Diego would have to be placed in the hospital for alcohol poisoning to not even take less than 2 seconds to destroy any type of trade (while laughing and pointing) involving Philip Rivers. San Diego would fire Turner before giving up on Rivers.

That would never happen. And as Bradway posted, Rivers couldn't win a SB with a better offensive coach and talent at every position on the team could come here and succeed?

Offseason priority #1 involves Woody deciding what the identity of this Jets team is. Until that happens nothing else matters.

A nice business that can drum headlines in the newspaper and create $$$. Oh wait, none of that involves football and winning, too bad for us fans

I wish Woody would learn that the easiest way to make headlines is to just win. No need to screw around with media circuses.

The worst is the meddling. If he thought of it as a buisness and there should ne consistency and an identity, it could work. But he wants to meddle with it every few years leading to no identity, no plan, no future. There is good meddling and bad meddling. Woody's meddling doesn't seem to be football influneced, hence bad meddling from the get go.

Yeah, a successful franchise and a SB would be all the publcitiy he ever needs. Whatever QB does this or coach would be hailed heroes in NY and statues would be built.

Yup first was the Brett Favre disaster and now it is Tim Tebow, at least with Favre it had a bit of football sense to it, this Tebow nonsense was dumb from the word go. They should have learned from the Eagles that the shuffling QB nonsense would never work and all we did was replace one of the fastest players in the NFL (Vick) with a much slower bigger white guy.

Our offense was never good, but the QB musical chairs destroyed any prayer of rhythm

Matt Flynn got a huge contract and the Seahawks STILL couldn't justify starting him over Russell Wilson. Give me a fucking break. This team isn't a mediocre QB away from being competitive. We need to preserve every damn draft pick we can and stop chasing a bunch of dreck.

Every skill position on O needs to be drafted as well as OL as many times as possible. 7picks and they should all be on O

Priority 1 (assuming he gets fired after this offseason) Fire Sporano, hire Norv Turner as the offensive coordinator. He's an average at best coach but a great offensive coordinator and would do alot of good for whoever the qb is next season

The biggest thing that has to happen is Tanny has to go - he is good with numbers but horrible with evaluating talent. Since he has assumed complete control they have drafted as poorly as anyone in the league.

If Tanny goes don't know if Rex and staff would survive.

Sporano has to go as does Cavanaugh. Need a better OC and QB Coach.

Tebow is gone and a legit backup will have to come in.

OL will look very different next year.

Young guys at LB are showing up and that will make it easier to replace Scott, Pace, and Thomas.

    Kyle Wilson should replace Bell.

Runnning back...Greene is nothing more than a Brandon Jacobs type role - 3rd and 1 guy - maybe change of pace. But should not be seeing more than 10 carries ever in a game.

Priority NUMBER ONE they have to fix the Offensive Line
Number two get rid SparSUCKO and Cavanaugh
    Faster and smarter linebackers
WR coach may also need changing, our wr cannot beat the press for shit
Bring back our tripping strength coach lol - less hammy injuries
For REX - JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Rex's mouth is an issue but you have to recognize that the media treats him the same way they used to treat Yogi Berra, as a quote machine frequently taken out of context or with his comments altered a bit to make them more sellable.

If Rex stood up in a post-game presser and gave the same epic speech that Jim Mora gave "Playoffs?! Playoffs?! I just want to win a game here!" the media headlines would be "Rex talking about the playoffs!"
