Romo is crazy enough to just say it out, no apologies.

Bayless is right -- I think Romo sees a lot of himself in Tebow. He sees a place for passion and intensity taking you to levels thought impossible.

Why is Romo a commentator, sometimes he sounds stupid.

Yeah, the usual high standards to be on TV and yap on an ESPN show should be adhered to.

I agree with Romanowski's opinion. Tebow is only going to get better and he is a hard-worker.

As a Bronco fan, I can appreciate that Romanowski helped us on defense during our Super Bowl wins in the late 90s.

That said, on top of being named dirtiest player in the league, he juiced for years and years. He is a cheat, a phoney, and the last person in the world you Tebots should want to align your squeaky-clean boy with.

He might have juiced, cheated, and been a phony, but that still does nothing to discredit his opinion about another football player.

You just have your panties in a twist because a Bronco great who actually supports/believes in Tebow.

Whatever makes you sleep better at night. I'm not the one combing the internet trying to justify Tebow's 2nd string status. Also, Romo is a piece of shit. If you think his endorsement is worth something, cool. It doesn't change the fact that Tebow is riding pine, and will continue to ride pine.

I know right? That's like asking for Lance Armstrong's endorsement if you were an aspiring bike rider.

Romo isn't acting as a character witness here, but rather, speaking to his abilities as a football player.

Barry Bonds may have juiced, but I'd still hire him as a batting coach. Ty Cobb might have been the dirtiest player in the game, but I'd hire him as a batting coach as well.

Nice to know that you have essentially zero moral fortitude.

'He cheated throughout his career, and was deemed the dirtiest player in the league you say? See if he wants a job!'

As a Bronco fan, you took the good with the bad. We all knew he was a piece of shit. From spitting in players' faces, to the preseason roid-rage cheap-shot he took on a teammate resulting in shattering Marcus Williams' eye socket.

Great linebacker? Yes. Terrible person, dirty player, and a cheat? Yep. Would I ever want his endorsement? Fuck no.

I worry about morals when applicable. For example, I wouldn't have either as a coach on a HS team or where kids are involved. For grown men though ? I'd make sure that they, and the players on the team understood that the past actions weren't being condoned. That said, the guys still have expert abilities that can be put to good use.

If you will, it's very similar to Vegas hiring former cheaters to help with their security. Or hackers who now act as security consultants.

Now, if you wanted to argue that player X was a proverbial bench warmer his entire career, and doesn't have any real expertise to bring to the discussion, that would be a different story. But you can't say that about Romanowski, can you ?
