My girlfriend bought me two tickets to the Jets game in Buffalo on Dec 30th. I was just wondering if anybody has been up there and what to expect other than the fact its going to be fucking freezing.

Any suggestions on what to do while Im up there, how the stadium is, how the fans are there etc. Being a Jets season ticket holder I have harassed my fair share of Buffalo fans so Im kind of expecting a bit of karma while Im there.

Any and all comments are welcome! Thanks guys.

The fans are pretty cool in Buffalo. I've been there numerous times and never had a problem. It will be mucho cold in December.

You will freeze your balls off.

Check out Anchor Bar for some wings.

I was there last year - didn't have any problems with the crowd. The stadium is in a residential area - literally. It's plopped down right near a bunch of houses, and the homeowners charge a few bucks to use their lawns, yards, etc for parking. There's not much close by. You have to head to downtown Buffalo for any real things to do.

Anchor Bar has great wings but is massively crowded, but it is definitely good.

As far as nightlift, I didn't try much so I can't help there. The city itself seems to have a lot less in the way of things to do than most of the other (major) cities in the NFL.
