They will admit when they have his replacement. He not on the roster right now. Unless there a big turn around by Sanchez the rest of this season. The Jets will be looking for a new starting QB.
I think the first and the last statements are undoubtedly true, and the middle one might possibly be true. I'll say this though, the Jets have a long history of keeping their starting QB off the injury report. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they did the same with Tebow. Especially if the only real reason he's here is to sell merch.
You would think haters would embrace Tebow starting. If he really is as terrible as some of believe, then he will choke and quench any notion from fans/media that he deserves the starting position.

Haha, you guys will bust your Moms. I started to do an 'in other words' reply about that post to you guys but I've decided you must do your own. I think the underlying theme to my view is the same, Mark is the QB, everyone must play better, and Tim isn't being used to get Ws. The Jets and fans are crying in our milk right now so I was trying to be like Tim and focus on the good things or at least say the same things more gently. NFL football players are usually bad ass, some fans, not so much.
Here's the problem. You guys "assume" that Tebow wins those games. Which is easy to do because you cant prove or disprove he would have. I hope he starts... this team is one of the worst teams in the league, Sanchez sucks (always has) and the defense is old and porous. Tebow will fail here and when he does (if he gets a shot at all) it will be the end of him and you and your friends. Which i will find sad, because you guys have passion, you're dead wrong and couldn't evaluate a paper bag much less a real nfl caliber QB but you have passion and that goes a long way on a message board. Thank god for TT and his jock sniffing followers... otherwise this board would be dead!
It's interesting how some people presume to know what others assume, particulaly when they seem preoccupied with a football players crotch area and how it smells. And not only that, they presume to be able to pick football player winners and losers and whether members of this message board will be successes or failures, as well as the success or failure of that member's friends. Go figure.

ok. Let me rephrase. I was just being an ass for being ass sake. Tebow fans are fun for me. I like the passion they have, despite the evidence to the contrary. I enjoy the back-and-forth. It makes my downtime at work or home interesting. Thank you! However, I believe, I will be proven right on his ability. We shall see.

1) We dont know he would win those games. we DO know that we lost them with sanchez as starter, and thus, tebow could not have done worse. 2) The broncos defense was poor, as was their running game pre-tebow. somehow they turned it around with him at QB. whether it was tebow, luck, magic, etc, it happened. and to me thats worth a shot at seeing if it can be repeated. hmmmm... so if people here say 'tebow would have won that game' its crap because there is no way to prove it. yet you can say 'if tebow starts he will fail' with out being to prove that, and its ok. whats that thing about the pot and the kettle? I don't know, there are plenty of stats(which for some reason dont count), all22 images(which again dont count), and analysis/opinions(which definitly dont count). If someone isnt allowed to use any of those 3 things, of course they arent going to be able to evaluate someone.... It is very easy to evaluate mark sanchez. there are 46 games of tape to view and statistics to cover. With tebow, its a much smaller sample size, thus its a bit harder to infer that those results would stay the same, improve, or regress... but you can still evaluate him for what he was -- which was a pretty solid first year starter. he certainly was better as a first year starter then sanchez was.
right, whats worse is, if you are on the main jets board, and mention tebow in a constructive way with statistical analysis, you get banned. but come here, admit you are being an ass and troll just for the sake of it and to get a rise out of someone and nothing is done.
the only evidence i need is he is riding the pine behind one of the worst QB's in the league. Can you disprove that?
