Some thing wrong with article :

" offensive coordinator Tony Sparano, who made the wildcat part of the NFL lexicon by making it an integral part of the Dolphins. In 2009 Sparano had Miami running back Ronnie Brown throw six passes in nine games. "

Dan Henning was the architect of the Wild Cat, Sporano was the designated fist pumper during those Dolphin plays.

The other thing that is questionable is :

"Meanwhile the Tebow thing looks to be in Mark Sanchez's head. Sanchez, who led his team to the AFC title game twice in his first three years, all of a sudden can't play. His quarterback rating on the season (72.8) is just behind Tebow's rating (72.9) last year in Denver. Sanchez has played in eight games this season, and four are stinkers. The calls for Tebow are getting louder. Hell, the owner is said to be calling for Tebow. It gets no louder than that."

Sanchez QB career QB rating is 73.2, the 72.8 is hardly a huge drop off. In fact its negligible.

"Again, I'm not saying Tebow is better than Sanchez. He's probably not."

Then why bother putting him in?

Change to someone probably not as good just for the sake of change? Sounds like cutting your nose off to spite your face.

It seems clear most believe that Sanchez, while not great, has a problem with the talent around him as well. So why is Sanchez the scapegoat here?

All the problems with the team, and all anyone wants to talk about is giving the job to Tebow as if he were a magic wand.

Then why bother putting him in?

Sanchez is not the long term solution. Therefore, let's see what Tebow has. Give him a chance.

I haven't read the article, but I think it should be pointed out that Doyel hates Tebow. I'm talking white-hot hate, on display in many of his past columns.

Zero Objectivity about anything related to Tebow.

he doesnt hate on tebow in this article... in fact, he basically supports him and backs him completely and knocks the front office for not playing him.

also, the OP really took some liberties with the title of the article -- its not really what doyles is

I just read the article, and yeah, there are multiple jabs at Tebow sprinkled throughout.
