If the teams were playing well, or were losing close games or something like that, I would understand flying 3,000 miles to watch the Jets play. But at this point, this team isn't worth our money until they stop being delusional, and make some tough decisions that need to be made.
How is this not a terrible matchup for us? 1) our receivers struggle vs. press coverage. Seattle has the biggest most physical secondary in football 2) We struggle horribly to stop the run. Seattle has the NFL's second leading rusher. 3) We struggle to move the ball vs. a good pass rush. they are 6th in the NFL in sacks 4) we struggle to run, they have the NFLs 5th best run defense 5) we struggle with communication, they have the loudest home stadium and have forced the most false start penalties over the past 3 seasons why would we play well offensively? we are an awful offensive team who has laid an egg every single time we have played a good defense this season. there offenise is also capable of putting up 30+ on us. especially if their defense turns us over frequently. also. they have recievers. sidney rice is excellent. blackmon is good. miller is a solid TE we dont have to fold to play poorly, because we arent a good team. if we play to our ability, the result will be mediocure football. we are going to get anialited this game. similar to the 49ers game
right, you know, because sanchez gives us the best chance to win. sanchez 3-8 in last 11 starts. hmy:
and the jets offense is scary? who cares about braylon edwards. he is their 3rd or 4th wideout. Rice and blackmon are both better then anything we have at receiver
Well if Sanchez could throw interceptions for TDs we would be a much better team  And I think Kerley > Tate.
Wish I would have known ahead of time but the tickets are bought and the plane tickets are paid for. Lots of fun stuff to do in Seattle anyways.:breakdance:
I'm actually predicting a win. It seems the Jets do just enough to keep Rex from getting fired and Sanchez from getting benched.
Well if we get blown out in this game, Pete Carroll will finally be proven right about Sanchez, he isn't any good.
Carroll commented that Sanchez needed more time in college & everyone jumped all over him for being selfish & just being a baby that Sanchez left USC. Now that the years have passed it seems Carroll did have a legit argument.
Then again, he said Matt Leinart was the next "elite" QB, how did that work out? And going into the NFL with only 16 starts, is going to be disastrous. You don't spend a top 5 pick on a one year performer.
This is just a terrible matchup for us. If I had to make an early prediction on the game i'd say 14-3 Seattle, and thats assuming with 2 weeks of preparation we figure out a way to keep their running game in check. If we don't succeed in doing that this one could get real ugly real fast. I just don't see how we have any success moving the ball on this team, maybe Sanchez can get something going with Keller and Kerley across the middle of the field? Basically if you think the Jets can win this game your going off of a hunch because statistically and based off both teams play there is no reason whatsoever to believe the Jets can win this game. If Miami's defense in their building gave them all that trouble wait till they face Seattle on the road who is right in the middle of a playoff race.
