Seattle can be had. the thing that scares me is their stadium, it's gonna be loud and intimidating. but off a bye week with some good practices and our back against the wall? I like our chances

I'm hoping this team is revitalized coming out of the bye week. Mark has to play well if we want to win against Seattle. That is one stingy ass defense.

THis makes no sense to the thread.

Anyways, I don't think Seattle crushes us but I see Wilson annoying us with his legs and one Skittles run from Lynch where we forget how to tackle. It's going to be frustrating but I think we can sneak a win. I wouldn't count or bet on it though.

How many threads are you going to post that essay in? Nobody is going to sit through and read all about why Miami is so awesome on a Jets fan board.

More time with the wife and family in two weeks. Stick a fork in the Jets. They're done.

With the Seahawks secondary I would say Sanchez has a four interception, 79 yard day. No chance for the Jets. This is a 6-7 win team at best.

And Rex supports him in the post game news conference.

Seattle offense is nothing scary, Braylon has done nothing for them

The Jets could hardly move the ball at home until the Fins called off the dogs and gave up garbage yardage to seal the game. Good luck in Seattle. Time to refill the Jets tank with more Loss fuel.

Seattle is eerily reminiscent of the 2009 Jets. They have a rookie QB looking to make a statement. A dominant defense that fights hard. I don't think we'll have a chance in hell to win this.

If we make the right changes, we can win this.

If we don't, we get embarrassed.

I'll leave it up to you to decide what the 'right changes' are.

Hah that's funny, me too. First NFL game live and first Jets game.

I'm predicting a horrendous-to-watch, run heavy, low scoring game. I don't see our OL protecting Sanchez enough for him to air it out and I don't see our Run-D stopping Lynch for an entire game.

    13-6 to the Seahawks

I'm on the fence. On the one hand it would be typical for the Jets to lose a game everyone picked them to win before kickoff (Dolphins) and then win a game everyone had them picked to lose (Seahawks).

On the other hand we suck fat hairy donkey balls.

So, yeah, could go either way.

    Completely agree.

That front 4 will be a nightmare especially with that crowd. You saw yesterday, we just didn't have the time to take shots down the field. We had to take shots down the field out of heavy formations or Smith as an extra TE. The Dolphins were able to get pressure and collapse the pocket before we got time to do it. Seattle can do the same things.

Not sure how the SEA run defense is, but our best shot might be going 3/4 wide with Sanchez and tell him to throw it and move the pace offensively. This seems to help Sanchez look like an average QB at times. Getting stuffed on 1st and 10, then you have a bad Sanchez throw, then you have the defense pressuring on 3rd and long and Sanchez getting overwhelmed.

The defense I think can hold up well enough if the offense/ST doesn't put them in a bad spot.

Seattle's a good team that lost to Detroit, another good team who's just had a rough go of things this season. Also, Seattle is a different beast at home. They barely ever lose there. I can't see any way possible we're going to go into Seattle, stop Marshawn Lynch AND have our WR's get off their 6'4 CB's press coverage in enough time where Sanchez and or Tebow aren't killed by Clemons or Irvin.

Will be a long damn day, much like Miami.

On the plus side I have Lynch on one of my fantasy football teams.

During Rex's tenure, many times the Jets have shit the bed then bounce back when everyone counted them out. This time, I'll be amazed if he can get them prepared well enough to do that. The Seabirds are tough at home and that stadium is the most difficult to play in today. Add to that the Jets, more often then not, don't play well when traveling to the west coast. I think you guys are in for a long day.
