If Rex wants his job, he will start Tebow. The fact of the matter is, we didn't achieve our goal which was 4-4 at the bye. Sanchez has no excuses.

He has his WR corp back

He has a slightly more competent OC.

He gets plenty of time to throw...

There is no reason in God's green earth that he should be starting against Seattle. None.

I agree on this. I'm sure we would have seen Stanton.

I don't think this is a problem if this is the case, I think it at least shows the players in the locker room aren't stupid. These are professional football players, they make their money, but they also want to win and they know well enough who isn't pulling their weight. The entire world knows Sanchez hasn't pulled his weight. The responsibility lies with the QB to make himself a leader, to make himself respected, and trusted. How can a locker room respect and trust a player who routinely underperforms and costs his team games? How can a locker room even like a player who makes all this money that he doesn't earn when other players on the team work much harder perform much better and make a mere fraction of what Sanchez makes.

Have you ever known this or any FO/CS admit a mistake? That's why Sanchez will start against Seattle.

I cannot believe these are new york reporters.. They ask BS questions and get vague answers... How about.Hey Rex...Do you believe what your actually saying?? This is now 2 seasons since your playoff run..How much losing is it gonna take?? What happend with sparano this year?? How come he cannot utilize tebow like other coaches can?? Are you afraid of losing your job??
They make him feel so comfortable and don't hold him accountable..

Neither Rex nor Sanchez have the balls to survive in NY.

It's easy to talk when things are going well but now Rex looks like a sad puppy. I don't think the team is following him anymore... and niether are they following Sanchez.

They're going to have to. Sanchez is inconsistent. That much is obvious. Inconsistency does not win you games. Why Tebow didn't start in the 3rd quarter is beyond me...

Pride comes before the fall. He needs to bench Sanchez and move on. Until Tebow starts stinking up the joint on a worse level than Sanchez, there is no good reason to not start him. None. I don't care if that means we have a 'qb controversy' or some such nonsense. Nobody in that locker room should give a shit as to what the media thinks. We need to put our BEST players on the field.

Oh Yeah! Drew is a significant upgrade to anyone on the team....

You might want to take a look at his stats before you go too far down that road.

Inconsistency won Denver quite a bit of games last year. You guys needs to remember what happened last year and actually write about it correctly

It's not his stats those, it's the whole circus around the thing. You don't think having Stanton behind Sanchez is different than Tebow? It's an easier switch back and forth if that's their plan. It's the way it is. You go Tebow, you have to go all in. You don't have to go all in with Stanton

You do realize that prior to the 4th quarter Mark was on pace for under 200 yards and a very sub 50% pass completion rate. It wasn't until the 4th quarter with the jets trailing by 24 points and the Dolphins playing a soft coverage prevent the big play defense that mark completed a bunch of short passes under the soft coverage, and even with that he barely got over 50% completion percentage (51.8%) That's one incompletion from 50% on 54 passes. And even with 54 passes, he still couldn't break 300 yards 1 TD and 1 Pick in the redzone. His one TD came with the team down by how much? was it 24 or 27 points at that point in the game?

Sanchez's game for 3 Quarters was horrible, and even with a soft Defense giving him the short passes he was just over 50% in the 4th quarter. If I count correctly 116 of his yards came in the 4th quarter against a soft defense down by 24 points. he was, I believe, 12 out of 23 in the 4th quarter, and almost every pass was under 10 yards, what should be high percentage passes against a defense playing soft against the big play.

This team heading back to the Kotite years, little to NO talent, even next year if they did draft a QB, you imagine a rookie starting on this team? Sanchez was blessed by the talent the team had his first couple of years.

Don't disagree too much with this. Every year that goes by, Sanchez looks less and less like a quarterback whom Rex would want in his ideal offense. Then again, when we throw the ball on 3rd and 1 all the time, who knows.

Sanchez had no time in the pocket, and he and the receivers don't seem to be on the same page at all. He's not playing particularly well, but he has no help.

I don't think it's a terrible idea to put Tebow in the game late to see what he can do. The game is over, the ultimate goal is to win games, see what you have. But I understand not wanting to start a controversy if he moves the ball well against the backups.

So...you're saying.... if you give a QB lots of time in the pocket... he can do well. You do realize you can say that about any QB in the world?
