I never liked the Jets TV Kid and I did not like his reaction, on TV at the draft, when we drafted Sanchez but he was right Sanchez is horrible. When one counts back up QBs its hard to argue he is even a top 50 QB.

Denver was 0-4 or 0-5 and down 14 or 17 pts in in the 4th quarter vs the Dolphins. They finally put Tebow in, and he led that team to a comeback and a victory.

He then proceeded to lead the Broncos to SEVERAL comebacks and victories. People crapped all over Tebow and thought he would get smacked by the Bears D, and Tebow went out there and did it again and won the game.

Took the team to the playoffs and beat the Steelers WITH HIS ARM on a beautiful pass to Thomas for the TD in OT.

You are really just a hater to think Tebow can't play QB. He is a DIFFERENT type of QB, he can't sit back there and throw 40 passes like Peyton Manning, but Tebow will get you 1st downs and drive a team down the field and win the game, and inspire the whole lockerroom as a true leader.

There is actually a worse. If we were 0-8, there would be no worse. But we aren't so there is a worse that we can go.

This makes me wonder if you watch football.

Tebow "can't play" if you try to make him into a pure passing QB.

But Tebow CAN play if you game plan with Tebow in mind as your QB.

I hated that the Jets traded for Tebow, and this is why. This kid has the ability to change the way the NFL uses QBs...... he showed he can win in college and in the NFL with Denver.... just stop judging him as a pure passing Manning/Brady type QB. Use him as a TEBOW QB and you win games.

    Isn't winning all that matters?

Tebow started the Dolphins game. He led the comeback, but he was on the field from the 1st snap. Also, he took over the team at 1-4. But yeah, I think they should start him too.

I disagree that he just sucks... BUT I think mentally he can't withstand being the starter in NY anymore. He's mentally done, at least for this season and probably for this team.

Also he has no touch on the ball.. jesus christ... AND he still isn't that good at reading Ds... how many times does he STILL look only at one side of the field or gets the ball batted down because he's staring down a WR?

I'm not particularly a Tebow fan but a t this point throw him in and let's see what we've got in him. At least I'm sure he'll be better character-wise!

If the choices are a fake QB or the worst QB in the league, give me the fake one. I'd rather be non-traditional than traditionally awful.

It seems to me like even if sanchez tore his acl and Mcelroy got hit by a bus, he would put the runningback in before Tebow. Refuses to do it even in garbage time.

Neither? Flacco has essentially had better talent than Sanchez and has played worse than Sanchez at times. While Flacco can go higher than Sanchez in games, he can go much much much lower

My problem is, I don't see the Jets defense hanging around long enough for that one Tebow drive that will hopefully happen. I don't see our special teams playing perfect enough to hang around long enough. If Sanchez needs above average units to succeed, Tebow needs even more for a longer amount of time. That's the current problem. I believe if we put Tebow in, we overreact and throw Sanchez and Tebow out essentially wasting 1 whole offseason last year where we extended Sanchez and traded Tebow.

If we keep Sanchez, we can draft a QB next year. We can then let Sanchez ride his contract out while letting a QB sit on the bench and watch. We can let Kerley/Hill to still develop and let our D line get better. We can restock the LB and OL. Then when Sanchez gets benched mid season next year or end of next year. We throw the QB in with no expectations if midseason or we get rid of Sanchez at the end of the season and we rebuild in our second draft and start off our new drafted QB on the right path.

Sanchez gives us a scapegoat, something to keep some of the current regime and not completely rebuilding. Completely rebuilding is something I don't want to do after another 4 years. Some of the more consistent teams come from consistency throughout the organization. Sanchez I think could be our scapegoat while allowing us to rebuild, tweak, and get a brighter QB future. The second you end the Sanchez expirement, I think you end this whole regime and thus we completely rebuild wasting some great young talent.

Sanchez gets all the credit for making the AFCC games....

... and Tebow gets no credit for his wins last season.

At a lot of positions the Jets look questionable. At QB, it's just more questionable. Sometimes I really wonder how I landed with the Jets. But what do you do? It's my team. Hopefully within a few years they work all this nonsense out from the QB on down. I still think #6 doesn't suck, but he doesn't look very good.

Again, why is Tebow the "fake QB" ?????

Once upon a time, people laughed at Shotgun QB's. The shotgun was a joke and a gimmick, and QB's who had to use the Shotgun were old and immobile, or young and inexperienced. You would have called those QB's like Staubach a "fake QB" because he wasn't as good as the other traditional QB's in traditional NFL formations that everyone was using at the time.

Tebow CAN throw the ball, I think he still holds the NCAA record for completion percentage and he showed last year in Denver he can make throws. The problem is, he is NOT Peyton Manning or Tom Brady. Don't try to turn him into a QB like everyone else.

Use Tebow as a NEW type of QB, and game plan for his style of play. The kid is a talent and a true leader. Just watch what he did with the Florida Gators and last years Denver Broncos.

He can win games. Damn, I really hate that the Jets traded for him. I don't know why the hell this happened. "Heal the lockerroom" stuff in the off-season? Because the Jets have no plans to actually use his talents even when it's OBVIOUS that Mark Sanchez is DONE as a starting QB in the NFL.

sanchez was part of the reason you went to 2 straight AFCG but he wasn't the only reason nor did he play like aaron rodgers or tom brady it was a team accomplishment. Of course the jets aren't the same and you hired another garbage coach like morano

I'm sorry but this is a myth that the Broncos Defense carried Tebow. That is garbage. It's more stuff people say to discredit Tebow.

Tebow was averaging around 6 yards PER CARRY.... this isn't Michael Vick type rushing. Tebow was churning out 1st downs. He led the NFL in yards per carry for a good portion of the season last year. He ran 22 times against the Chargers, which was the most an NFL QB has ran since 1950. This means Tebow keeps the offense on the field and eats up a lot of clock, keeping his defense fresh.

ALSO, Tebow DOES NOT TURN THE BALL OVER. EVER. Last season, during his first 8 starts, he turned the ball over exactly ONCE. Tebow is a master of no INT's, no fumbles. Combine no Turnovers, with a threat to run for a 1st down, and everything else, and Tebow keeps his offense ON THE FIELD so the opposing team can't go out there and score the ball. The defense is fresh and the score is low.

His ability to do multiple things, like the play action and the Option, makes Tebow a unique talent that a team has to get behind for it to succeed. You can't stick him back there and say "Go be Dan Marino" and then complain when he can't.

Lastly, I'll leave you with this. Last year, as Tebow was leading the Broncos from 1-4 to the playoffs, Broncos linebacker Von Miller said :

"Just having that guy around, it makes us better men," said linebacker Von Miller. "I think he plays for us, and he makes us want to play for him."
