Elbow was down but nice try though. http://www.ndnation.com/boards/showpost.php?b=football;pid=370801;d=this
Looked like a TD to me. But it was one of those, if you call it a TD on the field TD, if not then it isn't. Lou Holtz on college football said it wasn't a TD because the ND line got a good push and they don't let up rushing TDs. I think he forgot they had a video they just showed trying to determine what happened
LSU forces SC to go 3 and out. Jeremy Hill then goes for 7 on a 50 yard run. (sidenote, I want the Jets to draft Jeremy Hill just so they have Jeremy Kerley, Stephen Hill, and Jeremy Hill. If there is a Stephen Kerley that can work too)
Talent wise, SC is the better team. But you see what that gets you. LSU was just too physical. Conner Shaw looked like a scared cat in the pocket (with good reason). LSU's physical play paid off in the 2nd half. SC's O and D lines were too tired to put up a fight. From top to bottom, the number, size, and athleticism of LSU's players is mind boggling. If LSU had a decent offense, which will require a new OC, this would be the best team in the nation. If, if, if,......
Good call. LSU flat out wore SC down in the stretch and Jeremy Hill (a freshman) epitomes the number of talented players on that team they can plug in. I'm surprised their OL held their own - nice job Tigers.
Collin Klein is the new Heisman frontrunner. Geno Smith has thrown two INTs and Klein has six TDs today and counting.
San Diego State goes for 2 in OT to win rather than force a second overtime. They convert and upset Nevada.
