You are beating a dead horse (pun intended) with this one. It is my personal wish that this self appointed savior from all things Tebow pack up his ditty bag and go back to Denver. Dear mister Concerned_Citizen, I for one am always on my guard whenever someone preaches how concerned they are about me, my opinions, or beliefs. There are far too many Tebow fans left in Denver for you to waste your time on the few that are on this forum. Go read your own Bronco game threads for there you will find many heathens saying blasphemous things about you great Peyton. Go preach to them for they need your wisdom and insight more than we band of few.

Concerned Citizen, I'm a Tebowmaniac and I agree with every word Cowboysfan. I think you'd find that most Tebow fans on this message board would agree with these statements also.

This statement is flat out moronic. You are talking about a guy that led the league in 3-and-outs. He did jack shit for the first 55 minutes of every game. He was the worst QB in the league at converting 3rd downs. That doesn't help your defense out AT ALL.

The defense did an amazing job considering Tebow couldn't keep the offense on the field for more than 2 fucking minutes.

Fucking Tebow nuts live in fantasy land.

    Is this fantasy land?

Tebow was not the only reason the Broncos completely turned around that abysmal record and ended 8-5 with a playoff win , obviously special teams and defense were a huge part.

BUT without Tebow the Broncos do not go 8-5 with a playoff win , as Tebow is one of the 3 pieces that were necessary to get that accomplished. Quinn and Orton would not have had that success running the traditional offense. The Tebow offense McCoy and Fox installed was better at getting wins and Tebow executed it very well (especially for being throw into it in the middle of the year). The other two components for the turn around where defense and special teams . Yes tebow had hot 4th quarter drives that got Praeter in position but prater came through again and again. The defense made stop after stop and Tebow executed a made out of thin air offense to the point where Denver was the #1 rushing team in the league .... It all worked, together.

Therefore Tebow deserves as much credit for the turn around as the defense and the kicking game (he was one of the 3 pieces) .

He doesn't take any responsibility for his part in the "mania". It apparent that to follow a player who is no longer on your team to a new team's forum, just to denigrate that player's accomplishments, highlights your level of interest in said player. Whether he admits it or not, he is heavily vested in Tebow's performance.

For example, I think Sam Bradford and Colt McCoy suck. They were both said to be better NFL prospects than Tim Tebow, which as a Gator I took issue with it. However, I have never been on a Rams or Browns forum. I could care less what they do. I support a player I think is good. That is the extent of it. If I don't think a player is good, or is overrated, I don't pay attention to him. I don't go and whine about sorry ass Sam Bradford getting Rookie of the Year honors. Congrats to him! But I am a congratulator, not a hater.

Overrated = rated higher than he should be. So yes, a player can be simultaneously lowly rated and overrated.

This is a BRILLIANT post and impartial stats. Someone, someway, though, will find a way to twist the facts to make you look like a Teboi.

I can't even imagine doing it. Cam Newton is my personal object of dislike (primarily because of Auburn, and cheating, and his personality), but I've wasted exactly zero seconds following around the internet and preaching about it.

HELLA good post, BackUp. Remember when Bradford and McCoy and Tebow were in the running for the Heisman that year? They were great then, but I thought Tebow was much, much better, and he's done better in the pros than they have. They get excuses for "rookie" mistakes, but not the Teebs.

But you forgot to mention an important "fact". Only Tebow's college fans followed him to the pros. No alumni from Elway's college became Broncos fans after he was signed. Ditto with Sanchez - I'm sure there aren't any USC fans who watch the Jets and root for him. Definitely no Bulldogs fan follows Stafford when the Lions play. It's only those crazy Gator fans who do stuff like this. Sarcasm alert in case Sheldon is reading this.

Tebow is the only young QB who must throw for 75% completion pct., 3 TDs, no INTs, and 300 yds per game to be considered an NFL QB. He is not allowed a learning curve or OTAs and minicamps. Even division titles and playoff wins are not enough. Better to be Cam Newton, who hasn't won anything and pouts like a 6 year old girl when he loses, and throws his team/coaches under the bus, then to be winning like Tebow and positive all the time. Funny thing is that Cam's organization has backed him since day one and he's bitching. Tebow was a true gentlemen while his whole organization dissed him on a weekly basis... while winning. And when Tebow left, the organization, team and fans kept dissing him. Through it all, he never said a bad word about the Broncos.

But yet, Broncos fans who wanted him out of Denver so badly have followed him here to the Jets and post every day about how he sucks. Are we posting in the Broncos forums complaining about how they treated Tebow? Are we in their forums saying Tebow was the only reason they won?

    No. We are not.

Yet, we are supposedly the crazed Tebowmaniacs.

There was one billboard that I recall - at least only one that was reported - that was paid for by two Pakistanis that owned a business in Denver. I suspect they were just tired of Orton. Everyone seems to forget just how bad the Broncos were when Tebow started last year. The Defense was in the mid to bottom twenties. They were 4-14 since Tebow got there. They traded their best offensive weapon the week that Tebow started. By the end of the season they had multiple injuries to key personnel on Offense and Defense.

I have only seen someone say the wins were all Tebow in a mocking way to people that got excited about what Denver was able to accomplish last year. It's too bad some Denver fans apparently didn't enjoy it and choose to follow him throwing ridicule where ever they can. To each his own.

I can tell you I don't think anyone of the "Tebots" "Tebow Nuts" "Tebois" on this forum think he is a made QB in the NFL. The only difference is we think he showed some ability to get the job done and want to see if he can develop. I can not tell you how many multi page heated discussions I have seen in forums that end with haters saying - well it because of you Tebow fans we hate him. Really?

Don't be ashamed, baby. I'm sitting in the drive through at KFC getting your 16 piece dark meat.

And yes, they will fill and entire bucket with that yummy gravy at no cost.

    I knew you were worried.

    XOXO

    How ridiculous is their logic?

I hate Tebow, not because of anything he has done, but because of other people. Because of other people, I will dedicate hours of my day to trash Tebow, though I admit he has never done anything to offend me.

No, an inappropriate post would be calling a player 'dink and dunker' when you apparently have no idea what the term means.

But I understand your inappropriate misunderstanding. Being out of your element is disorienting.
