Even without Revis we still have a really good cb corp. Look around tghe league at all the terrible corners getting beat left and right, Jets fans should be blessed with what we have.

I remember fighting with the Cro haters last year, and to be frank feel completely vindicated right how. He's become the best player on the team with Holmes and Revis down and Mangold having a rough stretch there (although Mangold has lately been returning to form).

It's a pleasure to watch him play.

Wilson? I'm still kind of meh about him. I don't consider him a bust, but he's still got some problems, mostly in failing to turn his head and avoid PI calls. Cro gets PI calls because he's pushing the rules on contact, not because he fails to turn correctly. It's a big difference.

Someone please quote this again. People on this site need to read this several more times to let it sink in.

Wilson has been holding his own. I like him being aggressive like Cro - thats where some of those penalties are coming from.

And a Trufant appreciation thread needs to be created. What a breakout game against the Pats.

Good point bout Trufant. He had a great game. Six tackles, two for losses. It was inspiring despite the loss. He looks like a keeper right now.

it makes mr cringe to think of the way cro is now playing with Revis back.

i know cro won't be shutdown when revis comes back because the QB has to throw to SOMEONE, but it has the potential to be one of the greatest CB tandems of all time

It's funny to see how Asomugha has fallen off and Cro is just beasting, in light of how we had to "settle" for Cro.

Sometimes a Scheme can make a good player seem better and sometimes not. Cro, Like Aso is now, Struggled when asked to play a lot of off coverage in SD. Cro is at his best when its bump and run, single coverage all the time. he admits he gets bored and is not as aggressive in zone. Some guys need the in your face style to bring out the best in them.

When Aso was with the Raiders I thought he & Revis were not that far apart. After seeing him on the Eagles where QB actually bothered challenging him, I can see he was extremely overrated. He can be in the conversation for one of the good CB in the league but nowhere near the conversation for one of the best ever.

With all the money he's making, I laugh at his overpaid ass on the Eagles & glad he chose that franchise over Jets. Only regret I have is that Jets should have put some kind of deadline so he wouldn't string them along so long. It made the Jets add some guaranteed money to other players to stay in the Aso FA game.

While I do think Aso would have been a much better fit here I'm really glad this worked out the way it did.

Cromartie and Landry are the main reason why Revis' absence is less noticeable. Heck, you could include Bell as well. Our secondary is stacked.
