    1) I actually thought the Bills was going to be dangerous this year. I mean, I thought they were going to be a nightmare for the division, flying out the gate like a bat out of hell and with a chip on their shoulder with something to prove especially with the moves they made this off season.

    2) I honestly thought that the Jets would be the division champions this year. I thought we would sweep the patriots and the bills would be the problem in the division this year, but we would wind up division champions.

    3) I thought Miami would be a pushover this year.

    4) I thought just like Eli Manning, (who use to suck and was an interception machine) turned that corner along with other quarterbacks, I thought Mark Sanchez would have stepped up his game as well. I'm not saying he was going to morph into Aaron Rodgers, but come on....show me you been in the NFL for 4 years!

    5) I thought Tebow would be used in a completely different fashion. Don't even put him in the game no more, just let him be a back up because they under utilize him when they put him in and it makes him look stupid. Just use him as a back up and that's it.

    6) My first year as a Jet fan and season ticket holder has taught me to never wear anything Tebow related to the game. You will get called out for being a bandwagoner, you will get heckled by fellow Jet fans at the stadium and win the Jets lose at metlife, your Jets bretheren will turn on you and make you run to your car.

    7) We're going to the superbowl this year on the arm of Sanchez.

I thought they were going to get really creative with Tebow and use him about 1/3 the time. They obviously havent and tebow's acquisition is showing itself as just media hype which woody johnson loves so much.

Sanchez is more consistent that you, I'll say that.

Jets could still win the division. They need to sweep Miami and Buffalo and split with the Pats.

Their use of Tebow outside of those fake punts have been disappointing.

Buying a season ticket to watch Tim Tebow play was a losing proposition. But Woody definitely appreciates your business. You're one of the people he wanted to get to the stadium this year in place of the long-term season ticket holders who have deserted the Jets since the cost of going to a game with the family became similar to a monthly mortgage payment.

You're a March 2012'er. What did you expect?

The question is, if Tebow gets traded are you trading in your green in white for the next team or are you sticking around? Or are you a Tebot and will follow the lemmings to the next stop?

While Tebow is the most polarizing name in sports, he isn't the best QB. He is a good player, but the Jets are not utilizing his talents. It could also be concern that they don't want the 2nd string QB to be injured on a running play either.

We have been hoping to go to the SB for 40+ years. I was swimming in my fathers nuts when Namath won so I don't even have that to go on.

Sanchez can be the QB to lead this team to the SB but he needs a metrick fuck ton of improvement during the next 9 games or our current roster has to go on a serious run. While its not impossible, its improbable. This is after all, the Jets.

What the hell is this about? I bought season tickets to watch a back up QB take a few snaps and protect a punter? Yeah, ok.

I live 20 minutes away from the stadium. I wanted to get into football and enjoy the sport, I am a huge soccer fan. I chose to Jets as my team because they seemed "cooler" then the Giants plus I saw some Joe Namath documentary a while back. Getting Tebow was a plus, I like the guy's attitude and applaud him for his foundation and faith.

If he was to leave the Jets I damn sure aint gonna quit my job, leave my residence to live twenty minutes from Ralph Wilson stadium and become a Bills season tickets holder, LOL! Nah, you Jets are stuck with me for life LOL!

Now let me learn the game so I post in those threads about Stats, prevent defense, and the Tampa Two and all of that stuff! :jets:

    1. I thought the same thing. I majorly over estimated the Bills this year. I don't know if it was the swarm of confident Bills fans posting on here or what but I gave them way more credit than I should have for Mario Williams.

    2. I didn't think we'd sweep the Patriots, but I definitely saw the potential to win the division with them struggling and changes to the line.

    3. Agreed

    4. If you look at Eli, he was ranked 26th in his fourth year, and Sanchez can definitely surpass that if he keeps playing like he has in the last couple games.

    5. I don't agree. I think he's helped us win games with the 3 fake punts and a few other first downs. I don't think it makes him look stupid at all. He IS a backup QB, there's no reason he should be taking all that many snaps from Sanchez and it distracts the defense, even if he does nothing.

    6. Jets fans at games are loyal. Many have been following this team for 20+ years of disappointment. They are loyal despite how bad things have gotten. They are probably just as annoyed at the Tebowners as many on this site because they jumped ship to the team. That might not be the case with you, but I can see why they think it.

    7. Partially true. We will go as far as he takes us, but the running game HAS to be a factor.

Going into the season I had none of those expectations except that Tebow would be used more.

But anyone saying Tebow isn’t a big help and should just be a backup is missing the larger picture.

Every week our opponents spend a large chunk of their preparation preparing for Tebow packages. The Texans said they spent 30% of their practice on Tebow. The Colts 25%, etc. This takes a lot of pressure off of Mark. Imagine if defenses were spending 100% of their practice time preparing for Mark. Tebow has helped the Jets, Mark and the rest of the offense in ways that cant be measured.

Sanchez had a bad game against 49ers. Besides that, he's had games where we could have won if our receivers made a play here and there or the run game showed up. Look at the Pats game. Our receivers played great for once. Sanchez completed like almost 70%of his passes. And just when u thought Jets would win this, Hill drops a blinder. Then we end up kicking a FG, then another FG. If Hill makes the catch, Jets have the momentum a d I think they punch it in for 7 and far less than 1:45 left on the clock for Pats to score a TD...so in essence, one drop changed the entire game. Now u know how important those drops are. To beat Pats, u have to be on top of ur game. U won't get many opportunities.

I think Tebow is underutilized. I don't question his acquisition since he's made some crucial plays here n there. I thought he would have made some more easy throws and a few more wildcat runs.

Bills have been a huge disappointment. They still have the potential to turn corners. Hope it never happens and Mario becomes the next "Fat Albert" punch line.

Miami has been a surprise. I still feel they'll collapse any time though.

Undont seem like a Tebow bandwagoner, but ur join day is March 2012 n u have Tebow in ur display pic. Probably not the best way to show ur live to the team.

 sorry #6 made me laugh. You've been a fan for a couple of games. Not to late to switch teams.

I don't get this. Everyone seems to say this. I don't wish ill will on the guy, i didnt' like the trade, but i root for him when he's on the field in a Jet uniform. What's the definition of a "Good" football player? He's not good at any one particular position. He's good at running the ball in the spread formation when no ones in the middle of the field. Seems like a good punt protector (is that a skill that makes one "good"?) So, what makes him a good football player? I don't understand why everyone says this? Is he athletic? Yes, so is 98% of the rest of the league. So what makes him so magical and everyone else mediocre football players? Anyone?

If u buy a season ticket because of a back up then that person is a fool. Unless it a family member.

I think the lesson to take away from your first year as a fan is that most Jets fans are pessimistic dicks.

Hang in there. I, for one, appreciate your unconditional loyalty and optimism. I would guess that comes from your soccer background. Enjoy the games and scream your heart out for the green and white!

THE SEASON IS NOT OVER, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS

    2) really? we lost to the freaking patriots AT new england and you think our division chances are gone?

    4) For godsake's guess what? Eli Manning sucked ass in the regular season of his 4th year, he had a couple big games, like sanchez
NOT SAYING SANCHEZ IS THE NEXT ELI MANNING, but why overreact so early in the season? jesus

    6) Don't worry, it'll get better

I dont know what anybody else see, but I personally think the jets are a better team then the Patriots. They have a better offense but I think we are collectively a better team. We just need sanchez to take that next step so if a game ending catch is missed, ue can still pull out a win in the next play. If sanchez just steps it up, we WILL be on the same level as the steelers that keep kicking our asses.
