Should sign Case Keenum, since obviously we're not going to give McElroy a shot. Honestly, I have no idea how he wasn't an automatic 1st round pick, he's one of the greatest college QBs ever, IMO.

Obviously, Sanchez isn't working out. Tebow isn't a QB, and we'll never give McElroy a shot. Why not sing Keenum off of the Texans' practice squad? I don't get why nobody but Houston wanted him? Don't even give me that BS that his "style of play" won't work in the NFL, we have yet to see him play in the NFL.

I think we should go after him.

Why is that? He has yet to play a single down in the NFL.

Yeah, he had some injuries, but he obviously played extremely well. And that's what it comes down to...

Why would we want that guy? If you are going to find a new QB find one that has actually played in the NFL. Case Keenum... does Kliff Kingsbury come to mind? Timmy Chang, Colt Brennan? Just because you put up insane numbers in a goofy college offense doesn't translate to the NFL. Look at the struggles Kolb is having, same system as Keenum.

You're contradicting yourself. You're saying he'll struggle in the NFL, yet HE HASN'T EVEN PLAYED IN THE NFL. History doesn't always repeat itself. You never know how good/bad he is until he actually gets on the field.

You have to be stupid to say someone sucks or they won't do good in the NFL before they even play. No one can see into the future.

No, there is a reason hasn't played in the NFL. It's because he isn't an NFL QB. There is a reason he isn't on an NFL roster.

How can you say he isn't an NFL QB? How many plays have you seen of him in the NFL? You can't just say because he has a certain style of play or he came from a certain system or scheme in college that he won't be successful in the NFL. Only fools think that.

You can't tell me a guy who had multiple 5k yard seasons doesn't at least have a BIT of passing ability.

Did you ever watch Keenum play in college or are you just looking up his numbers?

For starters he is barely 6 feet tall, not that it means he can't play but he has no size.

He never played under center, only out of shotgun. He struggled when faced with pressure, has no athleticism which with our OL is a major concern. He lacks the arm strength to make big time throws and forget trying to read a defense. You think, Sanchez struggles here, Keenum would make you wish for Sanchez. He is the true definition of a system QB. Did you see Keenum play at the Senoir Bowl? I'm not even a drftnik and I know this.

Size means nothing. Keenum is much more athletic than Sanchez. Arm strength is overrated. Football I.Q. can always be improved with good coaching.

So you never saw Keenum play? So you want to take a guy who never in his days as a college QB took a snap under center and throw him into our starting lineup? And no Keenum is not more athletic then Sanchez. Yes Keenum has a good football IQ but so do McElroy and Fitzpatrick. Like I asked... did you watch Keenum play in the Senoir Bowl?

I watched every single game of Keenum's senior year. I have a former teammate on UH, so I watched all their games.
