He's going to be a top ten pick. I hope to hell we have no shot at him. Te'o had another very good day today. I like Eifert as well in ND. If we do not resign Keller he could be looked at in the late first. Hell, if we do resign Keller I would love to add another TE, but it would be more of a luxury. I'm sure Bakermaker will spend lots of time pumping up Ridick before the draft lol.

Mayock talked alot about Ezekiel Ansah flying up draft boards today. Another freak athleat at 6-6 270 that was a former BYU track star. Plays all over the front 7 for a very good defense and could be the type of versitle player rex likes. Making plays for BYU after only picking up the game in 2010 shows a raw talent that has even greater potential. Anotehr thing Rex loves in draft picks.

Why was everyone in love with Logan Thomas in the beginning of the year? He sucks and yet some idiot team is going to draft him because of his mesurables!

The dude is 6'6 250, he has a huge arm and can run. I think he is incredibly overrated, but he has the skills to be a big time player. Thats why people were drooling over him, he just hasn't shown the ability to tap into his enormous potential yet though.

Conner Vernon, Duke...perfect slot receiver the Jets may be looking for.

Great player. I think he could actually play on the outside. He has solid size(6'1 200),runs a 4.5 and is a GREAT route runner.

I know your mock was way early ----- but as of now, he's a 4th rounder.

Demario Davis is playing more, and pretty well. Hopefully he can be the future at 3-4 ILB or 4-3 OLB. Unless we are talking about Te'O, OLB should be the focus on defense.

    LOL.

Vernon has probably played himself into Rd 3, some team will recognize his talent.

IMO, Kerley can do it all, pretty evident form yesterday's game.

Dion Jordan should be our pick for OLB, his versatility to play OLB/DE, he can rush the passer, cover TE's and slot receivers and play the run

Everything we lack on D he does well, 6'6 250 long arms, speed

I'm sorry I fell in love with my 1st prospect this year

Walter Football has us taking Justin Hunter as the 8th overall pick, for what it's worth.

Are you an ESPN Insider? I saw the same thing too, and the guy looks good, good motor too, but he would be a choice if we had a late pick

I think tht if Te'o is there we should definitely go with him. Maybe trade Harris out for a 2nd or 3rd?

Best draft I see for us is Te'o first if he's there if not a solid 3-4 OLB pass-rusher.
Second definitely a solid speed RB.
3rd best available OLB or G.

We definitely need a RB within the first 3 rounds. I would like a 2nd to be the RB but if the draft is deep enough I wouldn't mind picking up another pass rush OLB.

He probably won't even be drafted, but I like Barkley Hill from Iowa. Has okay speed, can stay on his feet and break tackles, and he always seems to run hard.

For anyone who knows who he is, he's actually torn his ACL, and he's out for the season. However, I have torn my ACL three times, so I can speak from experience: after you tear your first ACL, your strength will go through the roof, you will develop a great work ethic, and you will get faster, believe it or not.

He hasn't even played a regular season NCAA game yet, but I think he'll be an UDFA to watch out for. Good speed/strength combo, and the torn ACL will actually make him BETTER, IMO.

Harris to Indy for a 3rd

    Draft Te'O in Round 1

Trade 2 and 3 to move back into 1st and draft Dion Jordan

    Jordan-Te'O-Davis-(McIntyre/Maybin/Sapp)

I agree with the majority. Manti Te'o would be my ideal pick.

Im a fan of Jordan as well... Similar athletic upside to Aldon Smith (not as strong though) but it more versatile. I think Rex could have a field day if he had someone with Jordan's versatility. I think he'll sore up the draft board once people watch his game. He doesnt have overwhelming stats because Oregon uses him all of the place and has him in coverage a lot where others are rushing the passer.

I think he's a late first rounder now, but I would not be surprised if he's a top 10 draft pick. He has Mingo's upside and has been playing better than him this year.

If we ended up with Dion Jordan and Giovani Bernard I would be extremely happy... But as we all know, it will go nothing like that.

    Margus Hunt

I will be honest I don't know much about him, but I just watched the compass bowl on you tube, and would like to see if he could play OLB in the 3-4. He appears to have a huge motor, and is freakishly huge.

Assuming he could play as an OLB, our front line in the 3-4 would be Coples LDE, Ellis NT, Wilk RDE with our LB core as Hunt LOLB, Davis LILB, Harris RILB and Thomas (currently) ROLB. If we need to transistion in to a 4-3 look, Hunt/Coples/Ellis/Wilk, and our LB's Davis/Harris/Thomas.

I just read an article that showed he is hoping to bench 225 45 times at next years combine, and a 4.6 40. He is 6'7 280lbs, and has an 82" wingspan.

Watch the video, and tell me what you think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXIV8LYURsc

Watched Dion Jordan against Arizona State the other night. The guy has as much potential as I've seen out of any LB prospect this year and that's saying something considering how deep this class is. He is really going to sore up the draft boards this year, definitely worth a first round pick. He might end up in the running for the Bednarik Award, but it is going to be very hard for anybody to supplant Manti Te'o in that top spot.

Anybody know of any good RBs that can be available 2nd or 3rd round?
