    It is for the Yankees.

The Yankees need to cut salary, not add more dead dollars.

I mean we put our best possible lineup out there in game 2 minus Jeter because of injury and put up 4 hits and 0 runs. I don't mind him switching things up because that was horrific. I wanted Arod to pinch hit for Chavez last night, but it didn't happen and I don't want everyone fired.

It's hard to say Granderson and Arod really help the team in the lineup after watching them. I do expect Arod to pinch hit for Chavez at one point tongiht, but if Grandy stays on the bench oh well. Automatic strikeout.

And the only also ran is Chavez. He benched Swisher yesterday for Gardner. Not the worst move in the world. Nunez/Nix is forced out there because of injury. Raul has been locked in. Given much more of a reason to be the DH than anyone else on the team.

And I'd rather keep Arod and eat his salary than trade him and eat his salary.

Arod and Granderson were part of the team that got us to this point and they deserve to be in the lineup. So did Swisher last night. If they lose with that team then they lose but if they get 3 fucking hits (2 by Ichiro) with a AAA(ok?) lineup then everybody deserves to get their ass fired.

just saying most MLB teams would be glad to have this lineup.

Also, Chavez is hardly an also-ran. He had a .908 OPS vs. righties this year. A-Rod? .717.

Compare Chavez's numbers to third basemen around the league and you'll see he's hardly some scrub.

Every one of the lineups Girardi has sent out there would be considered a top 10 MLB lineup. It just so happens that guys who are a normally good hitters are not hitting at all.

They got 5 hits. 3 in the last inning. Nunez homer and Cano and Tex singles.

Again, they were part of the lineup but if they aren't contributing you can't wait around forever. They had a series to get it together and they didn't. You have to try other options. Neither has even been hitting the ball hard and looking like thye are going to break out. They have looked lost.

Surprisingly enough we got more hits last night than we did in game 2.

Nope - Joe Torre just wanted to fuck the Yankees. Now CC has to pitch tomorrow which means he won't be available for game 7 on Sunday. Probably the season right here for the Yankees

Michael Kay said it hasn't rained for two hours there. Wow, huge mess up by the MLB. Could have squeezed in 6 and the way the Yankees were batting, probably 9.

That is so stupid. It happens all the time, but it is only a story because its A-Rod. I sure as hell know that everyone on here who was single would do the same damn thing if we had the chance.

I've never heard of any professional athlete wheelin' chicks during regular season let alone PLAYOFF games. Especially after being benched. I'm done supporting this clown.

Looking at her, I probably couldn't resist either.

Though he could have just done the 'Major League' and run up into the stands after the game was over..

Fuck her in the bullpen cart

today's lineup still a headscratcher for me, this is confusing as all hell.

    WWJD-

Find a way to win, find a way to get on base, to score, make one of those
miraculous plays in the stands or running across the first base line to flip the ball to the catcher to get the runner out, all kinds of things.
But, in fact, he's having surgery on saturday, sucks!!!
