What state do many Sanchez fans live in? They live in the state of Denial. These stats just reinforce what you see with your own eyes when watching Sanchez.

He is a mediocre NFL QB at best. The Jets need a franchise QB as there isn't one on our roster today.

    He's 25 years old.

    31-23 as a starter.

    4-2 in road playoff games.

    10 4th quarter comebacks and 12 game-winning drives.

I'm not a Sanchez apologist, but he's not terrible. Terrible is Brady Quinn. Sanchez is below average right now, but a lot of that is due to how the Jets have developed him and the offense around him.

how do you know where the receiver is supposed to be? he could be throwing to a spot, he could be getting hit as he throws, the reciever could get tangled w/ a DB to slow him up. There are many variables, it's not black and white.

Here we go again with the "lack of talent" excuse. Every Sanchez apologist's token rebuttal.

we started kerley, Schilens and Cumberland as his starting WRs/TE in multiple games. We weren't overly talented coming into the year as far as offensive weapons and we have played most of the year w/o keller, will play the rest w/o Holmes and have missed Hill as well.

Sanchez is hot and cold, but just when I start doubting him he always comes back and makes me a believer. I think hes taking much better care of the football this year. Majority of his interceptions have been tipped by a receiver or the best defensive tackle in the league.

Lets all remember the game where Tebow went 2-7 with a touchdown and had a >100 QBR. This stat is a horrible way of judging a QB.

Yes there are times where he just overthrows a pass. No receiver running bad routes, or him getting hit. You can't ignore that either.

Yeah, because Sanchez's awful accuracy and decision making have nothing to do with his performance.

Jonny, Sanchez = Scott Norwood = wide right (or left)

This reminds me of last year when everybody blamed Wayne Hunter - right tackle - for the demise of the entire Jets' offense.

It seems every year we need a whipping boy to blame for poor offensive performance. Funny how it's almost never the guy who plays the most important position on the field.

Sanchez has been the problem for the past four years. The first two the Defense won despite his shortcomings and Rex hid him. With an Avg Qb we might have won a Superbowl.

His best year was 2010 when he had the most WR talent of his career.

He still isnt good, Tebow is probably better, but i am sure part of Sanchez's struggles have to do with a lack of talent on offense and a new system.

I love the people that insinuate that we won 4 road playoff games because of him

Wayne Hunter was part of the problem. The other was replacing jco and braylon with plaxico and mason. Then there is the general problem of sanchez sucking.

Saying he is the best QB on the roster is not exactly a ringing endorsement

I'm far from a Sanchez apologist, but I've never understood this logic. When a Super Bowl trip was on the line in both '09 and '10, Sanchez showed up. The defense didn't.
