Cro has done amazing, I can't think of a CB better than him at this point. Nnamdi is not playing good at all, Joseph is getting lit up. No one that I could really think of that's better.
Now that Revis is gone teams are throwing at Cro less. He rarely got burned when Revis was in there, but would get flagged all the fuckin time leading fans to go as far as saying "he sucks". I've been defending this guy since day one because he's been playing great since day one here.
Agreed. Cro has stepped up and is playing lights out. He makes the occasional mistake, but he's more than solid and always has been.
He was good for us in 2010 and 2011 - he is playing like a possessed man this year. I don't know how you can't see that.
He plays a bit more physical than he used to and he uses his arms much better. Guy has these ridiculous inspector gadget arms. He used to use them when he was going up for picks but I would always wonder why he doesn't ever seem to stretch deflect passes or put them in receivers faces. He's starting to do that more I've noticed.
I was going to make a thread about "Who would you rather have? Nnamdi or Cro?" But obviously we would all choose Cromartie right now. He is playing out of his mind. He should be every Jets fan's favorite player at the moment.
Cro deserves props for yesterday. Both pick 6's should have stood, especially the first one. Maybin put a clean block on luck. Keep it up #31
I've been harsh on Cro in the past... I've worked with him...I've seen him play live (w/ the Chargers). I know what an athletic freak he is. So it's really cool that he's playing to his potential. Sorry I doubted you Cromartie. Now let's see if Greene took note.
haha Cro's making ppl eat crow. Gotta say he's playing FAR more physical of late. I've seen him level ppl on running plays away from the ball for no reason but just to level someone.
Aside from his cornerback play, this guy is a walking pick-6 threat everytime the ball's thrown near him. Cro is fun as hell to watch whenever he gets his mitts on the ball. Recall him getting more physical at Cortlandt this year. He threatened and then mugged the 2nd round pick Stephen Hill in 7-on-7's then followed that up the very next play by blasting Dustin Keller on a pass over the middle, which turned into a fight which had Rex making the team running gassers with Tebow running all the sprints the fastest.
He was behind Revis. Imagine now that Cro has had his coming out party next year when we have both at the top of their game! :breakdance:
I say the same thing. If they could draft a pash rusher, I think that could yet again be a dominant defense. I think by the end of this season with the youth gaining an increased role the defense will be playing very well. Loved how Allen, Coples and Wilkerson played yesterday. Dont remember much about how DD played. However I am excited about the youth contributing.
I like what i see from Cro. Killing his old image of being soft and can't tackle. I like his aggressiveness
Can't say enough about Cro. He's been dominant. I never really understood the hate for him. The guy is a playmaker and a great cover corner. It's hard to find good man to man corners nowadays.
