The running game played well against a team that can't defend the run. Sanchez wasn't asked to do much. There's nothing to be excited about or get negative about.
I had a great time. Greene showed a little life. Sanchez played smart and didn't turn the ball over. He also completed the passes when he had to.

Definitily something to "get excited about" Run game looked great (even if it was against the Colts, the same Colts that BEAT GB last week) 4 sacks (1.5 from our first rounder) and most importantly Sanchez didnt turn the ball over
Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Give credit where credit is due. The team played excellent today against a team that beat GB and was dubbed a cinderella team by the media.
It was a good game, but let's call the game what it was. The Jets won a game that they should have won. Running game looked good finally; defense looked good; Sanchez wasn't asked to do much, but made some good throws when needed. There's no reason to be jumping for joy after one game. If the Jets beat the Patriots next week, then we can celebrate a bit.
Gives us hope against ALL the mediocor teams (and we play alot of mediocor teams in the remaining schedule. Haters eat a dick, you arnt true fans
It was a game I expected us to win and I'm glad we did. The team is showing increasing improvement even if we did lose last Monday. But yeah, haters gonna hate.
What negativity!!!!!!! We won!!!!! Mark Sanchez' play, brought back memories of Joe Montana. We dominated an excellent, well coached team. What's not to get excited about!!! The jets are flying high.
Notice how there isn't 500+ viewing the board right now? Only about half of that. People come here specifically to hate. Other than the regulars who are actual Jets fans this place is a ghost town right now. I'd bet a lot of the negative nancys around here aren't even Jets fans but trolls looking to kick fans when they are down. Fuck em.
there are SOJ fans who patrol this site just to maintain the identity of negativity that they have come to define being a Jets fan. Hence when us new generation fans who have seen nothing but success under the sanchez/ryan era comes along it offends their sensibility and creates cognitive dissonance. That's why they cling to it and double down on the negativity, especially towards sanchez.
It's the ability to demolish bad teams like the Bills and Colts that separates us from being a bad team.
