Twice they were tied in the ALDS, 0 times could they take the lead in the series. They have 1 loss when leading after 8 I believe. One loss to the Yankees. Is that fair or foul because it technically crossed the plane of the pole foul but hit the pole which is fair
It was a foul ball. Remember it's actually a "fair pole" not a "foul" pole. If the ball touches any part of the pole it's a fair ball. They even had Craig Sager in the stands with the ball and he said no yellow knick.

I hate when guys strike out on a ball in the dirt and don't even bother running to first. Make the guy make the throw. Do your job. The announcer just mentioned it but I've watched a lot of baseball this season and I've seen it happen dozens of times.
