I get your point but if he is thinking what I am it's this:
Lose against the Colts = 2-4
Its a lock to lose against the Pats = 2-5
Then Miami if we split then = 2-6

Even with our easy schedule we would have to win every game for the remainder of the season to get into the playoffs which isn't going to happen.

People have selective memories, that's all. Sanchez was the comeback kid in 2010. He brought us back from the brink quite a few times. We won a bunch of games because of him, not in spite of him. Unfortunately this league is very much "what have you done for me lately". So right now everyone's clamoring to bench Sanchez since he's having a rough few games. People forget his #1 target hasn't played most of the year and now #2 is done for the season. People forget our run game has done almost nothing. Blaming the QB is easy, and there are a lot of negative simpletons. The problems are deeper than QB.

Didn't we win both games before those 2 went down? This weekend game is huge, we could be 3-4 with a home game against the Dolphins and a win would put us at 4-4 and 3-1 in the division with a bye week to rest. That's probably the highlight of the year. I see us winning this weekend but the Dolphins are gonna be tough. They look better then us right now, they have a hell of a pass rush and can run the ball. Can't believe I just said that but its the truth

    This.

4-4 at the Bye would completely change my mindset. If we're 4-4, hell, maybe 8-8 will get in so you might as well go for it, but I just don't think we'll beat Miami. Think we'll be 3-5 and that point, see ya later, season.
