    nice pick off.

to think a deep out an inning a go would have ended this series.

A-Rod and Granderson are walking outs they suck. Why didn't Gerardi grow a pair of pinch hit Ibanez with runners and second and third and one out, because the press would be up his ass - Puleaaze!

Joba hit by bat on broken bat single. Hit him flat against the back of his elbow it seemed. Freak play

    Edit: on the throwing arm.

Yankees taking him out. Let him throw a couple pitches to see, but decided to get him off the field. The O's batter yelled "look out!" as he saw it going at Joba.

Lolz @ A Fraud... Two nights in a row and Girardi pulls the plug on him. Is he done as a Yankee? What can they possibly do with him?

This Yankees team lacks heart. Jeter is the leader he is the only one who consistently battles and makes things happen.

With the exception of Raul Ibanez in the last two games totaling 25 innings the starters have mustered a whopping 2 runs. That is utterly pathetic and freaking atrocious.

That was my question... what can they possibly do other then suck it up and deal with the fact that he's going to be a .250 hitter with 18-20 HR's a year and can't come through in big spots. Is there anyway they can find somebody willing to take him even if it's for nothing?

Not for nothing, but after throwing 98 mph fastballs at Youk's head Joba has deserved everything he got.

NYY are stuck with him. Plain and simple. It will go down as one of the worst if not worst contracts ever, luckily for the Yanks they can absorb it.

that 8th inning i may never be able to let go, and i've learned over the years not to get too down over multi-trillion dollar athletes, but they had the O's on the ropes and couldn't even muster a fly ball or even a grounder to score jeter from 3rd.
What a waste that they have to throw CC instead of in the next round , where they should be already. I truly wonder if they make it out now the way they don't hit with men on base. The long ball takes you only so far, tonight was a travesty at the plate, andy and Phil's pitching has been totally wasted. fuckin' pissed right now.

As much as I respected Girardi pulling A-Rod two nights ago, I have to admit the morning show on ESPN made a good point, by now A-Rod's gotta be thinking 'why am I being singled out?' after the second PH. It's not like anyone else besides Jeter, Martin and Ibanez have really been hitting. Girardi's really got to do some other things (bench Granderson and/or Swisher and move the other one down in the order) to show it isn't all about A-Rod.

The Dodgers lol...nah, even they're not that stupid though they could use infielders.
