Bottom line is that there are very few QBs that would come into this situation and succeed. VERY few, maybe 3-4. So what people have to realize is that taking Sanchez out at this point and not allowing him to work with what he's got for the rest of the year is just a futile effort at saving a season that makes no sense. Tebow isn't going to magically come in and become a better pocket passer with this team around him. He's bad. Bottom line. He would struggle MIGHTILY. The Tebow nonsense must end.

I am done with Sanchez at this point. He's by far not the only reason our offense sucks because our o-line can share that blame just as much but good QB's are like good point guards they make everyone around them better. You think Jeremy Kerley wouldn't be a star if Eli manning were throwing him the rock? There's a reason why the giants can throw guys like Ramses Barden and a bunch of no name or ünder achieving tight ends out there and make them look like an all pros.

It's also the QB's job to hold the linemen accountable for their performance and make sure they know their assignments and from the outside it looks like Sanchez does a poor job of that. I thought Sanchez would come around this year but it looks like he's going backwards. I would probably let him play out the year and hope by some miracle he gets it together but I'm not very hopeful that we will ever see that jump forward I was expecting from him.

Sanchez isn't a terrible quarterback; he's merely a slightly below average one.
Average quarterbacks need very good players around them to win.
Average quarterbacks can't elevate the players around them the way a
    good, or great, quarterback can.

I thought the scrub wide receivers and Cumberland played good last night. Sanchez missed Cromartie for a TD, and hit Kerley but he had to come back to the ball, otherwise that was a Td. Not to mention the two picks. The last two games fall on him. I hope he plays good against Indy, I don't want a QB controversy.

Please, please don't use the cb example.....because cro was wide open and Sanchez fucked it up......Wide open on a wicked double move and Sanchez underthrows and throws out of bounds.......don't use that example.

Tebow has a history of playing better in real games than he does in practice games. I'd rather have someone who can play in the clutch than someone who can play in practice. Just sayin.

Here's an idea, how about the coaching staff bench Greene, stop calling run plays on every first down and scrap the Tebow package foolishness which actually does the team more harm than good. Use the added practice time to help out the worst wr core in the league.

Target stats are kept at a subscriber FF site I use, but target stats are available... just have to look for them.

Kerley's 65% rate is amounst the highest in the league for recievers with more than 25 targets. RB's have typically much higher %'s.

Every team drops passes. It's not an exclusive Jets feature.

Are you really trying to compare Schaub's game with Sanchez? Schaub literally threw away 8 balls, including a few in the redzone. The Texans weren't even pressing hard to get in the endzone. They knew they could get away with field goals because the Jets can't score on offense.
