Not just marks fault.... But he is a problem when he needs allstar talent to be effective... He is statistically the worst QB in the nfl... This is not a new thing... Ever since they started QBR ratings... He was in the bottom of the league...

For the people chiming in the that the run D played poorly, it certainly did. However guess what? It does not matter.

Houston's O scored 20 points (three were directly off the turnover at the end of the half). The D played good enough. Holding any team, especially one as prolific as the Texans to 20 points should win you the game. The offense, plain and simple is to blame.

Nobody said he needed all star talent, but we don't even have close to that on offense. He's not elite, he needs a decent supporting cast. Unfortunately he doesn't have one at all, let alone a decent one. They're all rookies and 2nd year guys. He's been playing without his #1 target and now #2 as well. Injuries have devastated us, I held my breath when Mangold left the game yesterday. He's the one elite talent we currently have on offense. Moore won't make the pro bowl this year, he's been weak, and Ferguson has been mediocre. Slauson has been weak and Howard has been up and down. I want to see more Ducasse at this point.

Right now, Ichiro has better moves than anyone in the jets backfield.
Mark could definitely hit Ichiro out of the backfield with some passes, something sorely lacking from the O this year. Miss LT.

Mark couldn't hit the Pacific from his Lifeguard stand in SoCal.

The time for Tebow is now! Sanchez is a loser QB.

I agree with the OP. Too tiresome to read the entire thread. The man (6) can do no wrong. Amazing what handing the ball off and being handed one of your two playoff appearances will do for a player.

This is so obvious that I can't even believe it's a matter of discussion -- but somehow it is. Our defense allowed 20 points, forced a turnover at midfield, and our special teams scored a touchdown. All our offense had to do was contribute, and we win. They didn't.

That one pass to Cromartie should have been a TD. Instead, Mark floated it out high in the air despite Cromartie having nearly 3 steps on the DB. Then he had to slow down and the ball was too close to the sidelines. You're throwing the ball to a CB playing WR and he has the step over the top and you float the ball like a scared little bitch. Wow.

You ever notice Mark Sanchez alone should not be blamed for a loss - but Mark Sanchez WON 4 playoff games...

Tebow is the definition of one good drive a good game. That's why Denver won games last year. They kept the game close enough until they had that one good drive. Don't see how you can fault Sanchez for that but then call for a QB who is known for that.

    That slide was amazing.

I went through all these pages skimming and not one person said Sanchez played good or is a good QB. So why is everyone saying that people are saying he is good? Most people that supposedly said "Sacnehz is good" said that Sanchez played poorly but so did every offensive player we had besides maybe Kerley. (need all 22 tape for that to be certain).

Im going to tell you guys a little fact...

THE ONLY REASON SANCHEZ IS STILL STARTING IS TO MAKE TANNYS EXTENSION ON MARKS CONTRACT NOT LOOK LIKE A DISASTROUS MISTAKE.

Normally, before I post on one of these, I read every post, to make sure I'm not re-posting something anyone else said already, but not time. The reason I support Sanchez, despite all this glaring faults, is pretty simple: The other options, TEBOW or MCELROY, or trading a handful of picks away for somebody else's backup are even less palatable than watching Sanchez try hard, but continue to suck. Actually, I can at least hope that Mark will get better if he keeps trying. I know Tebow won't, and I find it McElroys ceiling to be pretty low....like touching the grass low.

On the other hand, Tanny will probably trade the pics away for nothing anyway, or we'll get the picks, and they'll be new busts for us all to bitch about.

The guy is learning a new offense, playing with mostly rookies and 2 or 3rd year players and doesn't have his top 2 targets. Give the guy a break! There's a reason Rex hasn't bench him.

The funny thing is Schaub and Sanchez had very similar numbers. One of which played a defense without its best player, while the other played a top 5 D in the NFL. I think Sanchez outplayed Schaub here (neither of which had a good game though).

a good receiving core does make a qb better...just look at larry fitzgerald...every time he's on the field he's a threat and gets lot of double coverage. even though he might not catch 8-10 balls a game, it def helps other receivers to get open. so yes if we had a really #1 receiver mark can be better...he should not get all the blame

Who says that? Sanchez was part of a team that won four playoff games.

Thanks for sharing, but no. The reason Sanchez is still starting is because of this
